Most beautiful sunset in the Maldives?! DHIGURAH ISLAND: Budget diaries trip

Dhigurah island lies 96 km southeast of Male in South Ari Atoll. The island is almost 4 kilometers in extent and about 300 meter wide. This little piece of heaven on earth is well known as it claims to be the residential area for whale sharks. Unfortunately we visited there last September with a very nice sunny weather and crystal clear water but from the 2 days island excursion we had, there are no whale sharks on site.
Despite we haven't seen the whale sharks which is our main reason of coming, this island is definitely catches my heart. As we stroll along to find the sand bank, you will be amaze by the numerous palm trees that it almost feel like you're in the jungle. It is the best white sandy beach I've encountered so far. I think walking almost 3 kilometer is definitely worth it as the sunset is so stunning. It really feels close to you and colors of the sky changes like magic.

*Excursions such as: Whale shark, dolphin, manta ray watching, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc.
*Sandbank picnic
*Watersports
*Resort visits
