I don't wonder anymore when my grandmother always told me, when I was a little girl, "go to Switzerland as soon as you can, because there the soul and heart feel good, when there is mountain air and green everywhere ⛰️" Now today, when I look at your brilliant videos and pictures, it is a startling sight ✨✨ An incredibly beautiful country 🌺✨🍂🌿 I've traveled a lot in Italy and Austria, but I haven't been to Switzerland yet.🤔 I still have to travel to Switzerland. And, that train culture of yours, which I praise and appreciate. 💟 My grandfather also worked as a mechanic and track master for decades here in Finland. My grandfather also made sure, that I travel by train 😃🤗. I have also traveled by steam locomotive🚂🚃🚃🛤️☺️.

I know the Furka Pass very well and have been riding it since 1995 and to this day I am always amazed at the numerous plants that grow there all year round. From mid-October you can only take the car train to Valais. I lived in Valais there for over 20 years.

Cool journey, Sylvia! I loved it and couldn't help getting into it. You Swiss people are great because you are protecting your tradition and culture while living side by side with nature. That's what we must learn in our country. 🍀👍❤️🇨🇭

Yeah, we try to keep our traditions but it is not easy. The younger people are not very interested in traditions - that's very sad:(

This was an incredible train ride!! Beautiful views!! Rugged country side!! Awesome trip and I wish I could take it. Grew up in a valley with a train running thru it. Rode the train many times until I was 18 and bought a car. It no longer has any passenger trains. I wish I could ride it again and really look at the scenery. You are so fortunate to be able to ride trains and see what can't be seen otherwise!!! I saw the bridge that is taken down in the winter when you went across it. After looking at the pictures of the preparations for the train in early spring where it shows how the tracks are covered with snow, snow slides and rocks, it is incredible how it looks after it is all cleaned up. Loved showing the switchbacks of the highway going up the mountain. Was the building you showed several times where the James Bond movie was made? I never saw any of the movies but read the books. There is so much beauty of different kinds in Switzerland. Just amazing. Amazed at how rocky the terrain is in some places. Sylvia ... just cannot thank you enough for this video. Truly amazing and incredible!!

Hey Patty! Yeah, there was so much to see everywhere! The building up at Furka pass is the Hotel Belvedere but it is closed:( What an impressive trip it was!

We never are disappointed in any video you do. It looks as if we can reach out & touch the flowers or any animals, dip our toes in the water that Rasta plays in, smell the air & feel the wind on our face. You do such fabulous videos. Thank you for showing us this train & trip!

Danke Sylvia schön hast Du wieder gegeben.Freue mich daß Dein Papa auch Eisenbahner war dazu noch ein Mechaniker, also die Rechte Seite.Die ganze Fahrt über in der Nase und im Mund den Rauch gerochen und geschmeckt.eimaliger Erlebnis..Ich habe auch gemerkt daß Du weniger gesprochen hast , vermute daß für Dich war auch schöne Fahrt. Ich wollte nicht von all den Geräuschen ablenken die während der Fahrt passieren. ich dachte mir, dass das Erlebnis dann noch besser erlebbar wird:) Mein Vater war Mechaniker bei der Swissair :)

Sylvia danke nochmal ich hätte mir versprochen doch noch in den Alpen so eine Reise.Mein Kreuz muss mit spielen . Aber so an Deinen Erlebnissen teilnehmen zu dürfen ist für mich eine Bereicherung danke 💗👍👍🥂

Have a question: How did you take videos of the train passing by you like you were standing on hill off the train? Were you using your "flying thing"? Old age set in and I can't think of the "flying things" proper name!! ha ha
