I left this game because they made it such a chore to keep units leveled up and kept releasing new limit breaks constantly. They also didn't give us enough materials and it took too long to build a character. Combined with the massive rate characters had begun to release and the fact that they kept releasing hard content just to sell the solution in the form of a character, and they made that character borderline necessary for progression, it became unplayable for someone like me who wasn't constantly spending money. And its not like I was f2p or a super low spender either, I just cant justify spending insane amounts of money on costumes for characters or materials just to use the units I own. It was so out of hand I had to give it up entirely. My point to all this is, its clearly gotten worse. They haven't just not fixed this issue, they've doubled, perhaps even tripled down on it. New Meli requires insane amounts of medals just because they HAVE to make things as miserable as possible for those that aren't spending money to speed it up. They keep adding mew materials from different new sources that probably also require one hyper specific team comp you either don't have or need to build. They continue to simply make each festival more broken than the last making PvP an absolute hellscape if you plan to play longer than a month. This game is just kind of a joke now. I wonder what they'll do when they run out of anime, just keep making OC or start redoing old units again? Maybe someday in that future the game will be playable without becoming a full time job and investment.

The funniest part about Meli being "UR" is that literally nobody registered that during the live stream or the patch notes. Everyone just realized they had to pay double the amount of materials for literally no reason. He isn't special at compared to the last festival units, let alone the festival Meliodas's.

However that isn't the case because even if the animation doesn't play you can get the character. As someone else previously stated the animation might play when you get the character in your draw. You can get the animation but not let it play and still get the character, but to further prove my point I pulled another one yesterday without the animation playing it came with another character a goddess Liz I believe.
