Now the final boss on the other hand (whom i wont spoil), and the frenzied lame lord........ oof, that's gonna be hell.

@@trentjennings7782 I put ice and thrusting strike with the two handed talisman. I stagger in just about one or two hits with the ash and ice procs. The movement is so good you just combo right into the heavy and do damage beat down. I use summons but that got me through just about all the main bosses. By putting cold damage on it I get a magic boost and it has B scaling.

Glad you went exploring. This DLC will ACTIVELY punish you for not seeking upgrades. Don't be too concerned with the Scadutree blessings, the only people who will beat the DLC without them are the kind that could beat these games easily on a donkey kong bongo.

With the right builds and some skills, you can definitely beat a lot of the bosses summonless with a fairly low scadutree level. I say a lot though, because I just got to the final boss and I don’t know if this is doable with scadutree level 7…

Afro doing the sidequest with the guy in pain in the ground lets you fight one of the coolest and what many people think is the hardest boss of the dlc, you don’t technically need to do the sidequest to fight him but you get that guys armor and stuff if you do

If you talk to the Dragon Priest Lady and get the blessing then kill the two drakes fighting in Jagged Peak. Then kill the ancient dragon in the cave then kill Bayle you get the priest heart which lets you turn into a dragon until your next death it’s reusable too

FOR Rellana, it is possible to use a lot of jumping attacks but you really gotta know her moveset, like a lot of bosses her hit boxes are precise and can be ducked under by the landing animation for a jumping attack. That screaming npc has a quest that's pretty fun, just continue through the door after the dragon man boss and scale the mountain. There's other great katanas you can find and there dual wield move set is pretty nice

afro just to remind you bleed scales with arcane. If put bleed in any weapon, put equal parts of dex and arc . Dex increases the raw dmg and arcane increases the bloodloss buildup.You can check the bloodloss buildup at the bottom of the weapon. My nagakiba has a 115 bloodloss buildup with 60 dex and 55 arc. it inflicts bleed in 2 hits

@amyford2971 its not egotistical at all. I am by no means "the best" or even top 1000 when it comes to any game, but I can understand things very quickly compared to most people. I remember hearing it took people HUNDREDS of attempts to beat Midir, yet it only took me like 25-30 tries for my first win against him, and each time after, I was beating him in 1-2 tries. Afro is very much an "Average gamer" and has a hard time executing stuff that a lot of souls vets or "above average gamers" who are new to the series consider trivial at this point. Also, I really dont see how saying Im thankful that I gained the knowledge and sense I did that allows me to be as good at games as I am is "egotistical". I could see how you might call it a humble brag, but I literally called myself lucky, as in, if I hadn't been lucky I might not even have been AS good as Afro(which would be tragic)

for anyone stuck on rellana, i was on claws but one R1 will do 2 attacks so even if its a fast weapon youre locked in an animation. i switched to godskin stitcher and got her first try, also she ends most of her attack chains with BOTH her weapons, thats your opening. just be patient

The backhand blade is fire ong. You can punish enemies at tarnished sizes and smaller, or a sick dogde+pierce counter against hyper-armored bigs. however, knowing your enemies' move is crucial otherwise you'd be doing the equal of panic rolling.

The guys screaming on the ground is Igon. His quest leads to you summoning him in the Bayle boss fight which is in my opinion, the best dragon boss in Fromsoft games even topping Midir. He also has some amazing voicelines if you summon him in the fight. Please do the side quest, it is really a spectacle to behold.
