Good first go. I was up in the Unitas one night and had major wind. I hung partially to ground (like you did) and it worked great for the bad weather. Looking forward to seeing the next one 🌲😴🌲

I have seen that hammock advertised but never used it. I am not a big hammock camper however, I would like to try that one out and see how good it is. The meal looked great as well !! 👍👍

Thanks for the review. Been looking for a good bug screen hammock setup for a while. Tried a couple and they just werent the most practical. This one looks like a sick setup.

I like regular hammocks but this is hands down the most comfortable setup I've used so far.

How would you rate this hammock vs the Night Cat lay flat? Would be curious to know if the night cat would be just as comfortable with the same airmattress. The only major flaw i have heard of with the haven is that if you don't inflate the mattress enough or choose not to use the mattress, it will start to wrap around you a bit like a traditional hammock instead of the lay flat it is sold as. Would be really cool if you could do a small comparison video on Haven vs Night Cat using similar sleeping gear and padding.

Thanks for the in depth question. I think the nightcat is amazing for price. but the haven is the best hands down overall if price isn't a factor. I've tried a lot of hammocks over the past few years and truly enjoy them all. but this system really was the most comfortable and I'm in no way affiliated or payed to say that. As long as you use it correctly you wont be disappointed.

If you don't raise the Hammock up you will be on the ground in the morning. Jake McClellan The Oregon Boy 👦

Yeah the geography didn't really allow for me to have it any higher but even though I was in contact with the ground it was superrrrr comfortable.

IT LOOKS LIKE YOU WERE TOO LOW TO GROUND

By the morning my butt was touching the ground haha. But due to the length of the traps and the spot I was in I didn't have much of a choice.

I'm really hoping for snow soon. Been doing a lot of camping down in the low 20s' and I'm also ready for some more deer meat cooking haha

You really walked there to set your camera up then walked back, got your back on to then crawl around like that to the camera... That was so cringy. I'm gonna go watch Lonnie and Connie instead.
