This confuses me a bit. If Jax has flash and teleport and Camille has ignite and teleport, if Jax flashes to "trap" Camille after she E's in, won't Camille simply ignite the Jax and autowin the 1v1? Especially considering she E'd in immediately after Jax's counterstrike was down? I feel if Jax can flex his flash, Camille can flex her ignite and auto win any 1v1. Ofc I'm not high elo and I'm not trying to openly disagree with you, but I'm completely missing the point here.

Jax have 100 HP more (so equal with ignite taking into consideration), Mana for W. So they atleast even in term of HP + Ignite. However, Jax have passive and LT, he autowin pure AA fights.

In my understanding the main takeaway from this video is to use flash more aggressively when the enemy took another spell. Most players use flash to either escape, dodge sth while escaping or to match flash. Don't get too hung up on this very example. But if you want to get down to the nitty gritty. Jax is 1 level up, he has mana for 1 w which deals magic dmg, so her shield in that very moment is useless, ignite level 3 only deals 110 dmg, Camille doesn't quite have enough mana for q, Jax runs dshield and second wind, since his base movement speed is higher, if he just kites her after 1 aa, he heals so much. But most importantly, look at that wave. I haven't really played since the pre-season started, but at least before, Jax cant lose this matchup against an equally skilled opponent, after 6 there is nothing Camille can do, its pure stat check, every time Camille wins this lane its either Jax fucking up or her team helping out.

@@propa__ That is a great answer! Thank you! :D I was mostly stuck with the whole idea of just casually flashing to force a fight when the enemy can ignite you back, on a lower cooldown, and tip the scales.

@@otto99322 That is also something I hadn't taken in consideration. I was just thinking of the general 1v1 approach with flash vs ignite.

Well 1. this kind of thing can happen a lot in lane. So even if you don't understand this exact scenario. Assuming you are lower elo. Your opponents will give you bigger openings. 2. It will be close but Jax wins this if he manages to flash over Camille E. It can be pretty hard to do that in this specific scenario. But what you want to do is flash behind her so you are between the Camille and the tower. Assuming you don't get hit you can AA into W before Camille can do anything. Then she attacks you and procs her passive shield. You don't attack her again as you basically do 0 dmg for the next 2 seconds. You just kite back and forth so you are always just barely out of the range of her attacks, but not too far to not be able to chase her down. Then after 2 seconds you can go towards her and kill her. She well die in like 2-3 attacks depending how much dmg she takes from cs. Also if the fight lasts 6 more seconds you get another W.

I'm glad you're still doing coaching videos, I found a little mini-gold mine when I gave up ADC for 8 years and swapped top 3 seasons ago. I've been playing for near 13 years, was hard-stuck Diamond for 8 years as ADC, I decided to go back to top and ran into your videos magically. You actually helped me get to challenger after those small short foundation videos that I capitalized on and built on. I randomly came back to give your videos to a friend of mine for help and I realized you were posting again. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you.

I just wanted to add for the flash point, whenever you are in a position that you are thinking "I may have to flash here", instead of thinking of just an escape, also think about how you can outplay the opponent WITH Flash. For instance: You're under tower, you're at 15% health. The enemy is at 75% health. You know he has 1 ability that will be guaranteed death for you, but you have the ability to flash it. Burning your flash under tower to outplay an opponent instead of backing is huge gold advantage if execute it, especially if you have vision on where the jungler is. You get the kill gold(possible bounty), CS you would of lost if you backed, and if you have any sort of lifesteal, you could possibly heal back up and be able to stay way longer than you could of if you're behind on gold to get yourself back into the game.

really liked the style and information displayed in this, would love to see an explanation of roam timers, specifically mid lane as I feel i’ve been able to climb due to reliable CS and consistently winning lane, but have lost far too many games because of not being able to carry hard enough in regards to early game roams, I started climbing with Azir but when he was gutted I picked up Qiyana and I realized I had 0 knowledge of roam timers

Sort of a meme I have made (with myself really) that I would believe a lot more than I currently do is that Ignite determines who wins a 1v1 in lane to impossible degrees. Something like a Darius vs Nasus lane matchup, which is my textbook example of an instant draft outcome would somehow turn to Nasus destroying the Darius in the laning stage if he brought ignite and the Darius did not. Or a bit more realistically, that if two toplaners face each other and one has ignite and the other has teleport, the ignite one will use it to kill the other one and the teleport will be used so he can tp back to lane instead.

the plan would actually have been to E+AA+W after flash if the player was looking for Camille E. And that kills
