What if you play a primarily split pushing champion? What if the enemy comp is something you do not want to 5v5 into and want to take tower objectives? Stuff like Sion, Tryndamere, Trundle, etc. At what point do you kill the tower? Feels like there is a lot of value as a fed top laner split pushing, if nobody comes you melt towers and if people come it feels like flanks are more powerful when first tower in a lane is down.

yo Eragon i have a question, i always hear people talk about this concept called "tempo" and how much its important for mid and jungle roles, does it apply to toplane too? also your videos are so amazing!

I'm barely gold so don't assume anything I'm saying is necessarily true but tempo applies to any role. For example when you crash 3 waves you gain tempo over your opponent as he's forced to react to your play whilst you can look to make more proactive plays elsewhere or do a cheater recall for extra items

Talking from a cardgame (hearstone) point of view tempo is control of the map and the play, meaning that you are the one ahead in tempo and making the llays while the adversary doesnt have tempo and is just reacting to your plays, you cant have tempo all the time but having it means you have a window of oportunity and should use it to do something (to keep the tempo, or to exchange for getting closer to your wincondition) Im not sure how to define tempo in lol, like for example if you crash bot wave and back with a full item while your enemy bot is forced to stay and doesnt have their full item yet, in that case you clearly have tempo, but its gets harder the more factors you add in to account, thinking on the same scenary: your jg just died by an invade and the enemy top got their wave crash and has tp, so now you think that maybe they could dive you 4vs2 ¿so they have the tempo? But your mid is stomping lane and has item and R and is rotating bot following the enemy jg that is half hp in his way to bot, also there is an open dragon and the enemy mid just revived so its too far away to participate Is that tempo? Who has tempo in such a chaotic situation? Who wins the tf? The 3vs4 sounds bad but your team has a lead, are your champs weak or strongh right now? (lare or early champs) is the enemy champs good at tf or suck at it? Do they have dps? Stuns? Flash? What about vision? Who controls the bushes? Is the enemy top going to tp or not?

I completely died inside when TL took top tower at MINUTE 9 against gen g. Alphari was so far ahead and 10 minutes later his opponent was up in cs and solokilled him...

I mean in pro play almost every move is calculated and taking turret in pro play is bad because a behind pro player will have a deep freeze and free farm. While in Solo Q you can take turret b4 min 14 and keep pressuring top lane until you take their inhib. Baus for example never leaves turret up. He straight up demolishes them and he's grandmaster/chall player. SoloQ is a different game than pro play.

This is really cool if it works, but what if the enemy top laner and jungler come in to screw you up while casually farming on their side? Wouldn't you just die + they would farm your minions?

Depends, depends on the enemy champ and your champ, and the jg, and maybe the mid state, like takingtower also opens up the enemy jg a lot so you can 2vs2 the other jg/top for pressure and take herald easier Do you get first tower? Is your champ early or late? Do you want to farm or put pressure?? Lot of different scenarios, if you are stomping you normally dont want to break tower because leaving tower open force the enemy champ to walk up to it to farm so you can dive or just deny him the option to walk to the tower (minions die to tower alone = no gold exp for enemy team)
