Facts are controversial these days 😂
@_FirstLast_10 ай бұрын
it would only be controversial to someone with a moral compass, so yeah...about 1/3 of the population isn't going to be affected in the slightest and might actually rise to his defense. You'd have to care about society in general or humanity specifically for anything he said to have bothered you. (I'm not going to bother correcting the very real differences between a "fact" and an "opinion", because that's a debate i'll gladly let any proud fool "win" all day, every day) How many boots did Hitler command with his voice and facts? Hitler's men, just like in your defense of Musk, would gladly jump line to be the first to say he wasn't controversial and only spoke facts. And this is _exactly_ why Hitler (and now Trump) thought themselves "right or just"....not because of the possession or discovery of some hidden moral compass, but simply because of a popularity contest that they won and the much needed validation that comes with such a hollow victory. And we all know what happened when both Hitler and Trump left their echo chambers of "yes men" and brought that same madness against all of humanity, don't we? Hitler's cult wasn't remotely as cowardly or uncommitted when push came to shove. We can only be thankful Trumps underlings are as useless as they are cowardly. For anyone curious what a maga/USA civil war would look like, just look at Jan 6th as a preview. It would be light work to fill ditches with the corpses of cowards. Hell, I don't generally condone violence, but the most patriotic thing maga could do for this country is start their civil war and by doing so remove their genes from the breeding pool. Just because Elon (or anyone for that matter) thinks they're on the right side of history doesn't make it so, even if a million of his braindead sycophants agree with him and support him. These echo chamber champions always fail to realize exactly how disinfecting daylight outside the cave can be to their lies and deceit, and sane society is totally here for it with popcorn. Intent and purpose will always be more important than how charismatic you are or how many followers you've fleeced or how many FaceBook fake friends one has. Off topic rant, but I never once understood why FaceBook uses the word "friend" to define what every other generation referred to as a "contact". World of Warcraft destroyed the word "Epic" exactly how FaceBook destroyed the word "friend" : by distributing a misnomer into the hands of the average idiot/child and telling them to run wild with it. The way you useless idiots follow these demi gods like they even know or care that you exist is mind blowing, to say the least. I simply can't imagine being that unaware.

@bisk1407 all of his patents in Tesla around the electrification is made available for all. Hence his ambition for a sustainable future with or without Tesla but Tesla is irrefutably the catalyst that started the EV revolution of the 21st century.

And it's produced a fascinating interview. Elon goes into pre recorded script mode. Saying things off topic word for word what he's said in other interviews. It's a treat to see him say something original and unscripted. The above is not a criticism of Elon but it's part of the Elon thing, he goes off into a part of his brain and focus is lost on the original question sometimes.

That is the point of journalism. You are either too young or too naïve to realize this after all the censorship we have faced over the last 20+ years.
