Hi everyone, I see this is the most popular video on my channel. It was my first video and is really not up to par to my other content! Please feel free to check out my other content as well! I would love to see that content grow. They are of much higher quality and standard (and a lot more entertaining as well). I would like to earn a like and your subscribership to help this channel grow into something great! Thanks for watching! EDIT: Due to an editing error, I realize the wrong city is pictured in some of the photos for St. John.

Yes the Canadian Liberals have been immigrating all kinds of bad cultures into this country for the past 5 decades! The whole multi cultural thing is a joke and certainly not our strength and NEVER has been or will be! It's politicians selling out our culture and country to these criminal's! Any immigrant that breaks any laws in Canada should be deported along with their entire family! Then we will see how many create gangs and crime in my country! It's not Trudeau's and it's not the immigrants they sold us out too! I'm a 6th generation Canadian and as far as I'm concerned you criminal immigrants are trespassing. Get out now!

That's so sad, when I first went to Vancouver, it was safe and had a wonderful atmosphere. But that was before it became built up with unending hi-rise condo's. Now it's too crowded and has gangs which were not there prior to the change in population.

@@margaretr5701 Gangs were always there, but low profile Big Circle Boys, the Russians (wiped out by the bikers), and then the bikers went to jail. After Expo 86 you had US drug supply chain find out that there was a CITY th esize of Seattle they never knew about, and in came cocaine (all the leaders were US and their lawyers, and all drove whale tail Porshes). Now you have El Salvador (street level) and they ARE dangerous. Had two guys I knew intercede on a Skytrain incident and were stabbed to death. One E.S,. pos I knew was deported back, p/u by the military in El S. and never seen again. Good. I've been down east hastings in Vancouver a few times. It's definitely one of the worst places I've ever seen. @Daveyboy_RS3
@Daveyboy_RS3 2 жыл бұрын
@@NewHaven203 I lived in South Jersey, for a few Summers working on the boardwalk in my teens. Been around Philly and yes Kensington looks like it's its Philadelphia's version of skid row. The whole area is homeless people walking around with their shopping carts and people shooting up right on the street. Everything's abandoned. It says if the mayor of Philadelphia has blocked them off and said let them have that land to do as they please with as long as they stay there. But in terms of dangerous, I've driven through there, if you walk through there looking all clean with jewelry on then you're likely to get robbed by some junkie. But if we're talking about dangerous dangerous! Go about 20 mi east of there to Camden New Jersey just over the bridge. I've been all over the US and nothing and nowhere has terrified me more than Camden New Jersey. And I've been through Liberty City and overtown down in Miami, been through Mechanicsville Atlanta, West Atlanta, been through Flint Michigan which is a horror.. and obviously Detroit. But Camden New jersey, which is just outside of Philly has my vote for the most dangerous city in America. Even though the winner is usually East St Louis, Illinois. I haven't been there so I don't know but camden, New Jersey which should be just called Camden Philadelphia cuz it's just over the bridge. Only reason I'm saying this is I had to drive over there with a friend to meet someone and all I've got to say is it's pure hell!

Red Deer is an oil town where many lost their jobs in the oil crash. Crime is often where people turn to when they can't find work. Fort MacMurray has not gone up in crime yet which is surprising, but that is because local companies simply closed the work camps and kept the locals, it's residents are still fairly well employed.

@@ThisMoFo11 I'm sure that the rest of the cities earned a bad rep for a small trouble zone too. Canada is not the US. We don't have ghettos that take up huge chunks of the city where immigrants are sent to live with no hope of getting much of anything job wise most of the time... It's rigged to create a failure citizen and when you are afraid to go back to where you came from and you can't pay the bills or put food on the table... crime becomes the only option. The problem is created by a failed system. Funny thing is that most people that think this sort of thing is OK... are also victimized by the same issues. I've lived in both countries and have both citizenships. but to be honest... life in Canada is a ton better for the average person then it is in the US. In spite of crazy high rents and taxes and winter takes getting used to.

@@michaellebreton4294 well super liberal drug policies and catering to criminals is just not working out. I think that working and tax paying citizens are entitled to live in safe cities without syringes and poop and mental ward patients. Problem is that Vancouver’s mayor has already brought up a proposal to decriminalize hard drugs in the dtes, one look at how Portland, Seattle, sf and la are doing with similar policies would tell any level headed decision maker to burn that proposal and enforce the law and if necessary put people behind bars. Problem is that jails are expensive and they some how came to the conclusion that it’s easier to just decriminalize street drugs. I have no idea which studies and data actually support an positive outcome of these policies but I’m pretty sure it’s out there, written by some SJW berkley students.

They don't necessarily use names the public would know, but they are often made up of recent immigrants who band together with those of a similar nationality and congregate in certain neighborhoods. There is some great research by local professors in Ontario as well as in the US about this. There are rough outline maps made by law enforcement and enthusiasts who try to keep up with it all, but it changes so fast. The Lebanese mafia is also a significant crime organization, which might have been a better term to use then Lebanese street gangs in this particular instance. There is also the larger Arab mafia in Toronto as well. But as always with these kind of videos, you can only touch on things otherwise videos would be hours long. Hope that sort of helps. :)

Why get yourself a large loud dog? So the criminals with guns have something to shoot at while you're saying goodbye to your family for the last time? In my opinion, you need to get yourself a gun, keep it hidden and don't tell anyone you have it. It's better to have a gun and not need it, than to not have a gun and need it.

Many of these "cities" are a part of the metro Vancouver.
@zeus014
@zeus014 4 жыл бұрын
Stands to reason, and there are a few things in the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) that make this metropolis a target for crime: 1. It's a port city, where easy access to plentiful and relatively inexpensive illicit drugs are the norm. 2. Compared to the rest of Canada, it's a WARM city, with an annual mean temperature only four degrees Celsius colder than San Francisco. If you're a drug addict living on the streets you're far less likely to freeze to death in southwestern BC than in any other part of Canada. This attracts a larger percentage of destitute people. 3. Southwestern BC is an ultra-left socialist region that, using tax dollars, is very generous to its welfare recipients vs. other Canadian provinces and cities. If you were a drug addict, mentally handicapped, homeless, socialist or all of the above, which Canadian city would YOU chose to settle in given all of these enticements? 4. Even with the generous welfare cheques, money is still tight for these people, and does not meet the financial cost of their addictions even after taking into consideration the percentage of those cheques that was earmarked for rent but instead used for drugs. How you you suppose these people make up this financial short-fall every month? By committing thefts and fencing the goods of course, among other strategies. That's why it's the property crime capital. I lived there for 18 years and had my car stolen twice and broken into more times than I could count.

@@BotteEnTouche Agreed, housing is beyond expensive in the GVRD. Same goes for the GTA. Not all homeless became that way because of unemployment/drug addictions. Many are working poor who can no longer afford to rent in Vancouver let alone carry a mortgage. My point is that, due to warmer climes, generous welfare cheques and cheaper drugs Vancouver has been a magnet for addicts who want to avoid freezing to death, get more generous welfare cheques and cheaper/more plentiful drugs. This drives both property crime and gang activity through the roof.

My older brother lived in Victoria, B.C. and made a living as a fisherman on the Pacific. One evening when he was returning to his boat moored in the port, he came across four young people in a state of inebriation, a young girl and three boys aged between 18 and 20. Two of them started intimidating my brother, throwing rocks at him. At this stage, the young girl and her boyfriend let the other two boys indulge in their mischief. They threw my brother down an embankment, joined him to beat him to death, gouged out his eyes with keys left in their sockets, fractured his toracic cage multiple times, dismantled him like a puppet and left him thus dying during the night, where he passed away when a jogger discovered him in the early morning. This crime was committed on April 30, 2006, my brother was 56 years old.

I’m very sorry to hear that brother. My deepest condolences. Victoria used to be pretty sketchy back in the 90’s-mid 2000’s. It’s gotten a lot better in some ways. For example the neighbourhoods Esquimalt and Vic West used to be quite dangerous and violent, nowadays they’re completely different and there’s no crime there. All the crime is centred around downtown now. Back then there was more gang activity, now it’s mostly homeless or mentally unstable people downtown. The hells angels have also apparently left Victoria. My deepest condolences again.

Have lived in Red Deer my whole life. Used to be amazing and everybody had what they could ask for in a city. Now people have lost their jobs and we constantly have to worry about crime. Whether it's theft or vandalism, we have had to get cameras to watch out front and back yard. One guy was caught breaking into our van. We've had nails driven into out vehicles and we are just down the street from a skate part. Then theres the schools where theres drugs all around and RCMP have had to patrol and walk into classrooms to catch drug users and dealers. As well as just overall criminals. The amount of crime is increasing and we need more work done by the RCMP rather than speed cameras and all that. The attack on the oil and gas industry has really crippled this city and it's hard to see.

I've lived in Vancouver on East Hastings most of my life. It is a lot worse than the video shows. The police doesn't investigate any serious crimes any more. I was told by the police that it will be easier if we just die of disease, overdose or kill each other because then we won't be bringing any shame to our country. Police assumes that all of us are crazy because the mentally disturbed people commit most of the crimes and they are not on any medications. The city police doesn't investigate crimes any more even though people brag about what they've done. Everybody seems to have given up on a semi-normal way of life in this part of Vancouver.

How are things in northern Ontario , like around the WAWA area , does anybody know?
@AJMSTUDIOSvideo
@AJMSTUDIOSvideo 2 жыл бұрын
This video will answer your questions more in depth as it's about Canada's small towns and cities and their crime. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYWtp4auaLSVjas Canada's somewhat flawed system of monitoring crime doesn't actually list Wawa as it's own crime statistic. But data presented locally within the town indicate it may have a higher than average crime rate, upwards of 30%. There is no CSI score to give you unfortunately. The town has a very small population, but of that population, there were 221 crime incidents reported in the past year. It is unknown how many of those crime incidents are repeats from the same people. So without knowing the in-depth information related to this crime data, it could be just a handful of people doing crimes over and over that increases the "crime incidents" each year, or it could legitimately be a town with more criminal activity spread amongst the populace. I hope that helps out.

The entirety of greater Vancouver is on the list, EXCEPT New Westminster. The crime central area in New West is no other than the Columbia and New West Skytrain Stations, where access to Surrey is possible. By happenstance, the police station is located near both stations, so keeping criminals and homeless people on watch is a common police task there. No one can sleep in any public area in New West, especially near the stations where they are highly patrolled. Oh and I almost forgot. New West had an infamous Prostitution ring back in the day. Thanks to Mayor Wayne Wright, the ridiculous crime rate of the city substantially decreased.

I lived in Surrey all of my life. It’s been called Canada’s Most Dangerous City, but in all honesty, your listing is more accurate. It’s definitely up there, but I think it doesn’t compare to a few of the cities on the list. I’ve known people who moved here and hated the city. They’ve had their cars broken into, they hate the general vibe of the place (some people you meet are extremely rude), and it doesn’t help the rep of the city to outsiders in other municipalities yet it’s not as bad as it’s reputation makes it out to be. I’ve been harassed living in Whalley quite a few times by strangers or junkies. There’s problem areas but people forget about South Surrey, Fleetwood, Clayton, better areas to live in. As long as you don’t live on the highway, 108th, KG Blvd or near Surrey Central/Newton Exchange, you’ll be fine. Gang shootings happen here but they’re targeted and civilians don’t have to worry too much about it. I get harassed a few times a year where I live. The DTES, I get harassed every time I’m there and have had threats on my life. Just my two cents. Surrey’s not the most dangerous city in Canada, but it has its moments.

I was born in Vancouver, grew up in the lower mainland ( Langley and west ). The DTES is also known as Canada's poorest Postal Code, with the average income being income assistance so the majority of residents are living on half the income needed to reach the poverty line. I never get a hassle anywhere I go. I have actually had an addict rip her dealer a new one because he tried to sell me drugs right at Main and Hastings, her statement to him: That's Jaqui, she doesn't use. It helps that I have lived and worked around the area as well as volunteered helping get meals to them.
