Hyped for Firefly! how many pulls did you save up? I will be answering all questions! Don't be afraid to ask, Firefly is made different. Commonly asked questions or concerns listed below. ----- 1. I should have mentioned that Silver Wolf and Pela are good alternatives to being support in place of Ruan Mei. Both are just as viable as Asta and better than Hanya. The reason why Def Shred is not that crazy anymore is because they took away FF's own DEF shred and that hurts this synergy quite a bit. 2. Q. How hard is it to obtain 210 SPD on FF? A. considering team buffs it's not hard at all. 104 + 5(trace) + 25(boots) + 10 (ruan mei) + 60 (self) = 204 all you need is 6 more from sub stats, that's not even including the new plannar set. So yes very very easy. 3. If Ruanmei is already using watchmaker set, HMC can now also use iron Cavalry set to improve his DMG as well. 4. Q. How does Break or Super Break work? and why crit and why DMG bonus does not affect Break DMG? A. Break Effect and super break have a completely different DMG formula that ignores crit and DMG bonus. Check out on my guide to HMC, I go over the formulas in depth. 5. Q. How and when to utilize Bronya when I have E1/E2 Firefly? A. Yes for E2 firefly, I can recommend Bronya for a non-sustain team. Be aware how tricky it is to actually achieve the 6 FF actions that this comp is meant to do. You'll have to have 170+ SPD Bronya and 2 other DDD LC on the team to push her higher to catch up to FF's insane SPD. Yea I know this won't be for you're average team build for sure. 6. Q. How to consistently get Gallagher ULT turn 1 to proc 2x QPQ? A. You want ERR rope + his E1 to ULT ASAP on Gallagher to proc QPQ x2 if we're being specific. But honestly getting hit works also and delaying other ults also work. 7. Q. E1 or S1 or Ruanmei? A. Get Ruanmei first. 8. Q. and E1 vs S1? A. If you aren't willing to go all the way to E2, then S1 is a safer investment. If E2 is within your consideration, get E2 first as it changes the unit alot. 9. Misha's 4 star LC is difficult to obtain high superimpositions due to being a limited 4 star (have to pull for). It's still okay tho... nothing crazy. Crit is bad. 10. Robin's ATK doesnt get transferred to break effect for FF due to a game stat transfer rule not allowing one stat to stat transfer to be converted more than once. (I know it's a shame) Robin is still okay for the team advance, but really isn't as good as Ruanmei here. 11. Q. Applying fire weakness = good in all content? A. Good for 'most' content. Very new player friendly giving you element coverage. Keep in mind fire resistance is not lowered for non-fire weak enemies and you're still 'weaker' DMG wise, But the most important thing is still to Break their bars so the whole team functions. 12. Aventurine has really high toughness DMG. Enemies will be 'stun locked' by breaks and have less opportunity to proc his FUAs, but he is still above average for this sustain slot! 13. Every Background with FF/SAM is on wallpaper engine on steam. 14. Q. What about the 4 star LC Flames Afar with SAM art on it? A. other than having a good art, this lightcone is bad among bad, it doesn't do anything for FF. 15. Q. FF signature or RM signature? A. FF LC first, RM's own Break effect isn't extremely relevant anymore as her toughness units are low for superbreak, and the dmg boost isn't relevant in a break team. 16. One turn ult explained again. You need to make up for missing energy after 1 normal skill 240 - 144(skill) - 5(ult refund) = 91 to get 91, QPQ can give 48 or more, Kills 30-50 (easy), getting hit 15 (conservative average) 17. Q. how does FF compare to Acheron in terms of performance? A. FF better at F2P levels. Similar at higher investments. At whale levels Acheron is higher, because you can also whale the supports like sparkle and silverwolf or Robin etc.

​@yoruichishihoin8335 In total Firefly needs: - Moon Madness Fangs (the new destruction material, you can farm it already once you reach that calix during the Loufu main story) You would need 18 fangs of the level 1 rarity. 69 fangs of teh level 2 rarity. And 139 fangs of the level 3 rarity - Shards of desire, you can farm then by killing the meme enemies of the dream areas or you can just farm them with the dailies thing - 65 raging hearts, this is the boss material Firefly needs from the purple trex - 290 exp books of the highest rarity - And about 3 million credits, but you probably don't need that much since the priority its to level up the talent first

unless you plan to use attack boots, it's actually quite easy to achieve. implying 210 speed are when she use ult and IF my math is correct and there's no change whatsoever: 104 base speed+5 minor trace+25 speed boots+6 new planar set+60 from ult+10.4 from Ruan Mei We already hit 210 speed, Not including any substats at all

If you're a Xueyi appreciator like me, Firefly's light cone also works great for her. Quantum break already delays the enemy's next turn a ton. Adding the light cone's 20% speed debuff should therefore work really well on her. Alright, maybe I'm coping, but I love Xueyi.

For planetary set, I'd add that other member on the team like HTB and Gallagher will also run it, FF would use ATK% ORB but others can run DEF or HP so orb is easy to farm. You'd still need 3 BE rope though so maybe farm until you have a good ATK% Orb with 4/5 usable subs rolls and then if you still don't have 3 BE ropes maybe use modeling.

Gallagher prefers an ER rope to ult as many times as possible. His role in an FF team is to work as a toughness bar chewer to break enemies faster for Firefly, so you want him to ult as frequently as possible, not to mention the debuff his ult applies. His break dmg with BE rope or not, isnt a huge difference. The BE he needs to get the maximum healing of his trace will come from HMC.

If people wants Firefly but you dont have RM, asta is an excelent choice like the video says, not only she being a fire unit, somewhat SP neutral/positive, buffs fire damage, *gives an humongus ammount of atack* and makes your team just fly with speed, also she has awesome breaking capabilities and at E1 is ready to go and with eidolons she only gets better :D Her best LC is Memories of the past and if you only have 1 (idk if is better on HMC or on her, because one of the two will want DDD and i think that on Asta is overkill) so you tune her being the last of the team and she is ready to go(to make her speed buffs have more value)

FF LC first, then RM E1 is good for FF teams. RM LC isn't extremely relevant anymore as you don't care that much for break effect (RM has low toughness dmg) or dmg boost.

I have 2. 1: Do you think Break meta is strong enough to compete with the others meta playstyle in the game? 2: I have 700 pulls saved right now. 1. break effect meta is very strong and easy to invest in, especially when you already have RuanMei. It only falls behind compared to other archtypes when you reach whale levels of investment. (ie E6 and E6 supports) But obviously that's not most people and Break effect will be very meta until they decide it's not by using toughness lock mechanics and such. 2. 700 pulls is a good amount to keep an eye out for impactful E1s and E2s. Watch out for Jiaoqiu info and be patient with spending. (too early to tell right now) But in terms of FF, get E0S0 first as you already prepared, and if you like her as a character and gameplay, consider pulling E2, then S1.

yes, if No DDD, FF will need 225 SPD first cycle MoC to actually go 3 times. with DDD all SPD requirement lowered, the other team members also have a chance to go 3 times with insane SPD builds.

The only thing sparkle brings for FF is 50% action advance and that's never easy to speed tune with a fast unit like FF. Sparkle doesn't bring anything else she wants unfortunately (except maybe 15% atk)

@@matthewcoston896 as long as the team is HMC/gallagher or pretty much void of Bronya, SP is not an issue. Worst case scenario HMC uses basic atk, which isn't a big loss. SP is nice but because we only have 4 team slot, they really need to do alot to be worth putting in. For example Ruanmei doubles the teams DMG.

just asking, why is the difference btw the 4 piece iron cav is way higher than quantum? assume that the quantum get 20% def shred and iron cav get 10%def ignore + 15% def ignore for super break (and plus the 16% free)

must be 1 or 2 cycle of difference, if you go for E1, pela, silver wolf will be better, Jiaoqiu must be the BIS in that case

because Robin's ATK is a stat to stat transfer already, unfortunately FF doesnt get all that ATK converted to Break effect. This is the biggest flaw of Robin.

one thing is it's hard to S5 it, it is on a limited banner afterall. You'll have to pull for it like you do for signature. other thing is Aeon is just better, even at S5!

is there a difference between seeles passive and FF's E2? you cant get resurgence while in resurgence, effectively giving it a cooldown until seele takes a normal turn again. The bits ive seen of her E2 seems to retrigger after she takes another normal turn. more curious than stating it as fact. either way it being close to seeles passive is wild

um it's goes beyond that, not only the extra turn doesn't trigger another extra, the next FF turn also doesnt trigger another extra turn. So it's half as frequent in theory than Seele, BUT it's easier to actually get it by breaking as well.
