I've never seen a stream like this, it was quite entertaining. I'm new to simming so I've concentrated more on tutorials. It was hilarious watching you rib those folks trying to land, and the crashes were totally unexpected. I know I'm not learned enough to give this one a go yet.

The reason you were so high is because you're not meant to land on the runway the route takes you in the direction of. Instead, you're supposed to overfly the airport at MDA (IIRC) and do a visual circle-to-land following visual cues and come back around for the opposite side of the runway.

I have done VQPR a lot of times since 2017 X-Plane 11 and now in MSFS. For RNAV Z runway 15, we really have to dive into the ground after passing that hill at 12,000 feet before tracing the river that goes into the Monastery. Previously, the chart says to pass the hill at 11,800 feet, now it is at 12,700 feet. I really have to dump speedbrakes and go ---2,000 fpm. I guess, non Paro players never realised how steep that descent before turning into final was. The airport is at 7,332 feet, so that final turn before the Monastery needs to be around 8,500 feet. Most players were probably shocked at how low and super close the runway was when they made that final turn and see it for the first time. Now, try runway 33 - that's a much easier process as we don't have to clear some hilly wall at 12,000 feet before descending to 7,300 feet in less than 10 minutes like in runway 15. You also have that popular Sam Chui's cockpit video of how veteran Captain doing it for reference. Now, that being said, yeah ToLiss' Airbus does turn better and closer to real life videos.

It says Cloud Break Procedure in the top right of that chart. I'm not sure what that means but it sounds like that might be the reason. Bottom left, you can see that 3.5 deg slope isn't meant to take you to the runway elevation.

Landing at Paro in MSFS, as in the real world takes way more skills than just flying using AP AT and keeping the FD bars centred. It takes balls of steel and really good manual flying skills even in a relatively easy aircraft like the Fenix A320. For me, it took loads of practice, but was finally able to land the A320-200 in good weather and light winds, but overheated the brakes every single time due to the high gross weights assigned by Simbrief, thank God for virtual brake fans!😂Marginal weather and strong winds as is usually in the real world, adds a whole new level of excitement! Small tip: Beginners should definitely make good use of the 'bird' on the PFD and use AT all the way till touchdown, helps a lot in energy management especially in the final few tight turns. The real world pros use autothrottles almost all the time till the 'retard' call😊.

Something is indeed off on RNP. I also got the VDEV running away from me. But what I did instead was going into FPA mode, set -3.5 and finished the RNP completely and then did a visual 8 circle until I was realligned with the valley for the approach.

Tried it tonight but approached it from the other side, Runway 33. In sim it was dawn and I was flying my trusty -600. Everthing was going perfectly, I was going to buzz that house on final approach. (Oddly there is also a house on the other side on a similar position) And that was when I realized I had made a critical noob mistake. I left my auto throttle on. Right before I reach the house the stick shaker goes off, Engines flare, and my nose tilts upwards. I recover but too late. I fly over the runway😅. So close. But no cheating for me. Go around.😂
