Most difficult swarm ever! How to get a swarm off a fence.

Getting a swarm from a tree is often really easy. From a bush is a bit awkward but not that hard. Off a fence, that's trickier. This one caused me more than a little trouble.
I produce videos on a bunch of topics from bees to prospecting and a stack of stuff in between but many of them show off the use of traditional vintage tools. If you see a tool that you would like for your own I probably won't sell you mine but I may have another in stock or I can get one from France, Germany, Japan or wherever. I make little bit of money from selling tools but mostly I just like to share them and share how to use them.

Yeah that was a tricky job Stuart, but you handled it well. They were getting a bit cranky, and I guess you couldn't see the ones having a crack at your suit. So how did you go in the end? Did they all migrate to the hive? I take it you got the queen in there. Cheers Chewy. 👍

Given that the stings came from them getting into the suit I think I can get away without extra layers. Might try taping the cuffs and colar. Sarah is really good at the "sympathy" stare. I'm not very good or at least not good enough at the "give me sympathy" look of longing.

Yeah- and keep phenergan rather than just cetirizine or other antihistamines in your house. It will make you sleepy but is much more effective.

Hmmm I havne't used phenergan for ages because it made me so sleepy.

@@StuartChignell it sure will, but is MUCH better in case of this sort of allergic reaction. It is what I was given when I was given antibiotics I was allergic to for example.
