They've also proven to be incredible resources for learning how to not go insane when doing PUG games on Veteran, this one with the Minigun window coverage and fall speed strat demonstration are going to be very useful.

If you shoot the gunner in the car that show up, you can manually fire the mini gun from the vehichle. Not much use solo but as a team thats 2 mini guns for other players to use

That alarm door in the beginning almost always has 1 zombie sleeping inside that room. You should be able to just shoot the wall near it to alert the zombie and it will disarm the door for you. BTW, the barge route to the bottom, there is a small window to ledge grab the inside of the barge and prevent any fall damage. The risk though is that if you mess it up you take even more fall damage from the drop distance.

if you go down early, you can also wait til before your team get on the boat to give up. you'll usually spawn at the top (around the blue mast thing)

Yes, but that respawn point is actually worse. You often have so many enemies in that area that reviving is impossible.

There is a better way off the top of the boat for speed running btw, you jump from the jeeps down through a window, pretty sure it requires speed.

I have a new tip, somewhat useless but I guess can be useful. If you get the challenge speed run, leave the safe room and head back in and buy something the timer pauses for the rest the mission.

There is abit of RNG sometimes but here he had 2 teammates waiting at the checkpoint. This can split up the enemies or sometimes attract all enemies into the minigun whilst 2 people plant bombs.

@@queenvik404 due to crossplay and old gen consoles the num of zoms in game is capped. Reason speed running works is because game wont spawn zoms ahead when they reach cap

I have a theory that streamer mode makes the game easier. I watch your videos and it looks like recruit difficulty with the level of spawns. You set off hordes and maybe four common shamble over to you. We set off an alarm and no less than ten special infected and 60-70 common spawn on top of us all at once. We routinely have full stacks of confident killer before the vendor closes the shop.

There is no streamer mode. He uses Training Mode to explain everything, it's pretty much solo offline without progression. And because he's solo, he has less enemies than with 2/3/4 players.

one other way you can plant the explosives faster is that you can actually jump to the lower floor of the boat from where you pick up the explosives if you have enough speed cards. my friend took the jump to see if it worked (lol) and you just have to spam jump once you reach the windows so you don't fall down

As with all of swingpooynts nightmare videos he always seems to post the runs where he gets RNG that i couldn't even dream of. Every single time i've gotten to 1-4 i get fire ridden which makes shit nearly impossible. Most of the time we have dick for money because 1-3 almost always seems to screw us. The general population of mutations that will spawn in on the boat non stop is like....5x higher than what he had. Jesus christ....I NEVER get good rng on the boat, it's always attrocious, we know the run is over as soon as those corruption cards come up.

I have never, I repeat never, have seen the bridge that empty on Nightmare or Veteran. Everytime I pop the tank there is no less than a crusher and reeker. Usually more but at least those 2.

once you've picked up a bomb, right at the top of the slope going from the road to the boat, you can glitch-jump on the left hand side and directly reach the first floor through a large window. if you miss the jump, it's instant death though as you'll be ending up in the water.
