Most of shopping malls on designer stores tend are empty. I have been to Hong Kong fees times in the past and have relatives there. Never heard any of the places. I normally after gashapons, kawaii Japanese stuff which are hard to find in UK.

I have been to Hong Kong before , and i miss the place so much , probably because of the people there , they are quite friendly , but there's one thing that you need to know before you go to Hong Kong , I guess the locals there basically communicate in Cantonese , some of them can't really speak mandarin , so I guess English is the appropriate language to communicate with the locals there . I rmb i have spent a day at Disneyland ( which i used to have so much of fun ) and the fun time that I had at the ladies street where NO BARGAIN IS ALLOWED . All in all , hong kong is literally the best place for those who enjoy city lifestyle .... so yea ... ready for hong kong ?

Am local Hong Konger here. I'd say we can understand Mandarin pretty well but we don't like speaking it. And all the people receiving education here HAVE TO learn and study English... Sometimes very broken and with heavy accents but we understand and speak English haha (Many talk like Jackie Chan) So there you go!

Aahhh Hong Kong.... for me beef brisket & tripe soup noodle next to golden computer arcade was good enough (I even ate there almost 3x a week), and actually wherever I went I never had awful food even though I dont speak cantonese / mandarin. thats one of the good thing about HK. Hopefully taiwan is the same

Lived in Hong Kong all my life and I didn’t recognise a single place or restaurant in the video except for the antique shops I went to for my school project. Dusty ass clocks, so worth it. If y’all out there wanna come to HK but can’t afford to go to these bougie places, go to a 茶餐廳, 酒店 (serves dim sum and tea) or places where you got street vendors that serve roasted chestnuts or sweet potatoes.
