I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

@@johnawara9719 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?

I used to clean the pool at that house. The people in Port Royal would complain over a $5 part. And many of them only live in those homes a couple weeks a year.

I used to do work on fancy homes in East Hampton, the staff lived there more than the owners. Would have to use the bathroom at a gas station or fast food, was not allowed to use the the many at the Estates. Poor widows would give me tips and sandwiches when working on their homes . Odd how that works.

Someone described it as Miami is new money, Naples is old money. For the most part it fits. The key thing about that property is not just the 9 combined acres, but its one of the very few homes in an extremely exclusive community that has the best of both worlds: beach front and canal front to keep your yacht. Most houses in port royal you have to sacrifice one for the other , beach front or canal front but you don't get both. This property gives you both with 9 acres. Having said that, the price is likely a marketing trick. You set the price to most expensive home in the US and you get free advertising. So far its working you are talking about it the local news and even national chains are talking about it. Although they will likely not get the full price and maybe not even the highest price the narrative has been set. Mr Ego with deep pockets will take the bait and win the biggest D in the biggest D neighborhood, once he buys the once labeled most expensive property ,even if he didn't purchase for that price the people living in port royal will be talking about him.

I looked into it the other day. It will sell, but not for the house. Someone will buy it and turn it into 6 100 million dollar homes. I dont consider it a true home sale because of that. Greetings from fresno

@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I think that's pretty much the majority of the resorts, hotels, theme parks, ETC. On average 20 to 30% of the staff are H2Bs or J1s that work day and night for less pay than regular employees. Trump said he was bringing jobs back but what he did was increase foreign visa workers. But always remember... Unelected international financial institutions and unelected intergovernmental organizations run the show and both parties serve them not you.
