For those wondering, the reason they cant stop other people from accessing the beach is because in Brazil you can't own a beach as a property, beaches are not for sale basically, so anyone can go to them

Are you branching out from South Brazil ? I wonder if you could feature some homes around Ubatuba? And a nearby nice, gated neighborhood of Santa Rita ? My wife is from Uberaba but mostly lived in Sao Paulo city. That city is too big for me to retire in. We're looking for smaller cities along the Atlantic coast between SP and RdJ. Thanks.

Hey there! I live in Caraguatatuba, around 30kms from Santa Rita... The place (Santa Rita) is amazing, but it depends the lifestyle u wanna have, cuz there you will depend on car for nearly everything, even buying ur morning bread.... I would might suggest somewhere closer to Ubatuba downtown (Praia vermelha) or Ilhabela/Sao Sebastiao (pontal da Cruz, reserva do moulin, Itaguacu) cuz Ilhabela , despite been an island, is the richest, safest and offer the best services in the region (good public hospital, perfect for bikes, Walking distance restaurants and so on... The same apllies to the places in Sao Sebastiao near by the historical center... Furthermore , this month, the last branch of a very modern highway will be launched there... Making things even easier comparing to Santa Rita.. good luck in your search!!

It's not about the house itself, guys. That's just not it.. Its the exclusivity of this particular gated community, who lives there, and the fact that you dont get any other property with beach and fjord views like that, a stone's throw Joatinga, sitting from a hill top, which happens to be all yours, 360. Youre buying into being the king of the hill (rather literally) of one of the most exclusive places you could be in Rio. For some rich folk that is priceless.

You need more kitchens for two reasons: 1 - House is too big, you need some kitchen close to where you are. 2 - Parties, requires multiple people working at same time, remember the owner is a famous TV personality.

There are so many problems with Rio (huge security and transit issues specially), and it's a city with almost 7M people. Big city with huge problems. Makes sense if you are working there making a lot of money, rich and throwing parties, but it's the kind of city you just want to visit, not live. Even São Paulo, another much bigger 'business' city that also have a lot of issues but not as many, people that left Rio to live in São Paulo usually never want to go back. But I would just invite people to live in the cities that aren't the capital of the state, so many good places to live without all the issues from these capitals...
