I was in Copacabana. I have relatives there so I'm used to going. It's a great show. This year the fireworks were not very good due to the smoke. It's not my type of event, I'm not a big fan of big shows on the beach and for me it stopped being new a long time ago. But I have to accept that for the most part I saw people, of every type you can imagine, having a lot of fun. We danced, sang to the sound of Bethânia and Caetano and jumped a lot when it was Ivete's turn. There are countless ways to be at an event like this. In apartments facing the show, in million-dollar duplex penthouses, on transatlantic ships, in bars, kiosks on the beach or hotels. I was just in the crowd. So yes, it is an impressive event.

As a Brazilian, I believe IQ depends on many factors, but public school performance here tends to be lower. In the U.S., I understand you pay for private schools, while in Brazil, public schools are free, but private schools are better funded and more focused, covering all the material in a bimester (or semester if you are in college). Public schools often lack resources, and teachers may struggle to complete the curriculum due to time constraints and large class sizes. Since many people can only afford public schools due to low salaries, they miss out on essential content.

Brazilians have at his best some of the worst stereotypes of other Latin (european and latin america) nations, along with the broken vision of the "american" dream. Extreme corruption, a culture of taking advantage at any cost, where many would rather cheat for 10 bucks and lose a client than keep that client, a client who would possibly bring them others due to the reputation it would create. Honesty and self-sacrifice go hand in hand in Brazil. A dog's word is more trustworthy, and even if the majority are not dishonest, it's a number that is more than enough to be a BIG problem. Low salaries, cost of living almost the same as in Europe but with a salary of 150, 250 euros. With AirBNBs all over the world, everyone wants to be a hotel with any shack. Corruption in Brazil ranges from the supermarket line when a new cashier opens and everyone rushes to get in front of each other to the highest levels of society and politics. Conjuring up bizarre visions of people with Ferraris where there are people cutting hunger with the knive.

Minimum wage in Brazil is less than 300 dollars a month. Population is around 220 milioon. Maybe we have around 10 million people that are rich most of them in São Paulo region. We have a huge internal market so many people are not rich but have money doing some business but i believe the majority of the people in earn less than 500 dollars per month which is poor.

One of the many millions of problems we have is that Brazil taxes the service, the labor and not the product. So, from the raw material to the manufacturing of the final product, hundreds of taxes were added to the final consumer. One of our mistakes is also the public colleges that are funded by the states with money from tax collection from poor families but their biggest audience are young people from classes A and B. After all, those who pay the most taxes in this country are the poor, the Classes A and B barely notice so much inflation. In addition, in 2020, the Union spent R$19.3 billion on death pensions for military dependents. Most of the money went to the military's daughters. Of the 226,000 people who receive the benefit, 137,916, or 60% of the total, are children of deceased military personnel. Imagine a girl receiving 100k months of pension from the public coffers? Apart from the electoral funds used to support political parties..... the salaries of judges and judges are close to 500k reais.... One of the mistakes that the Brazilian government also makes is that the value of the IPVA is based on the market value of the car, unlike the United States where the price is based on the weight of the car, which is much more intelligent. A small car will not cause damage to public roads in the same way as a large vehicle. This also explains why there are so many old trucks over 20 years old that are exempt from IPVA. Brasil is an open tap of money

Politicians love this IQ of 83 and work hard to manufacture even more people with lower IQs, as they are the kind of people most susceptible to being influenced by these corrupt politicians. Currently, it is the country that has devalued the most in the world in 2024. Not even countries at war have surpassed Brazil in this title, and Brazilians seem anesthetized, as if nothing is happening. As we "happily" say: "Do the L"🤡🤡🤡

No doubt Brazil has the most fun and interesting celebration due to culture in general, excitement and specific customs for the date. But there's the annoying side too. More crime, higher prices, crowded and hectic beaches. The roads become jammed and way more dangerous. And there is now a new kind of "celebration" consisting of small biker gangs revving motorbikes without mufflers in order to destroy people's eardrums... but yeah, not just on new year's.
