The hotpots all looked delicious! But, honestly, the most impressive part of the video was the factory tour. I've seen surgical theatres with less rigorous hygiene. I'd love to know if that's SOP in China these days. It's sadly not at all like that here in the States.

I lived in Sichuan for 3 years. The people there literally won't eat anything if it isn't soaked in chili oil. They take hotpot then dip it in dried chili and MSG!

Trev, I always enjoy your food tour videos so much. And watching you in Sichuan makes me want to pack my bags and leave to eat as you have eaten. The magic of your videos is that while you are worldly and knowledgeable about the food, culture and language you never have "Big Face."
