Yes but how does one prepare for a holiday on one of these submersible super Yachts. Would you need training or evaluation as to whether one can coup going under the surface for long periods of time. And would there be an age limit top and bottom.

There is a big difference between the rest of these vessels and this proposed "Phoenix 1000". The others (many of which already exist and are in service) and the Phoenix 1000 (which does not) is that they are basically water toys. The concept of a true "yacht" style submarine has been around for decades but has not been produced. It would most likely be restricted by maritime laws pretty much everywhere. True submarines are potentially hazardous even with highly trained crews. Something like this over 200 feet long? What would it use for power? Yeah, submerged it can use batteries but how long could they last without recharging? They have to provide propulsion and life support as well as all electrical equipment required for safe operation. Will it have a diesel engine like military submarines? They require a lot of resupply and maintenance and if something goes wrong, as often does even on surface vessels, God help you. Try to get insurance for something like that.
@Dtitilator3 жыл бұрын
Those speedy toy subs don't even go under long enough to be considered a real sub. Most of them just dip for a couple of seconds because buoyancy pulls them upward. They more like enclosed jet skis.

If the passengers need scuba gear, it is not a submarine IMO. Underwater vehicle: yes, submarine: no. With today's technology you could get a similar visual experience by simply running a periscope (or drone sub on a tether) down with 360 degrees of camera views projected on TV's up in the yacht.

Can I have the Pheonix, please? as my permanent home. I would make one addition to it though, add a bay with a really deep-sea pod, one that can reach the deepest of waters in the world, waters that the mother sub cannot get down to, one that can take video footage and carry no more than 4 people.
@LimeGreenMedic3 жыл бұрын

How can a submarine be "brutal"? It's probably the least-usable adjective you can use on a submarine. Does it dive, turns or cruise "burtally"? Does it punches sharks and whales out of the way? Perhaps pokes its periscope a bit menacingly? I don't get it.

Not really sure you know what a Submarine actually IS!!! for it to be called Submarine you need to be able to go under water WITHOUT IT LEAKING!!!! Please explain how this is a Submarine when the guy is hardly even under water and he's socked yet, your claiming this thing is meant to go under water LIKE a Submarine all the time.. I'm pretty sure you cant tell the difference between Jet SKI with a roof basically a TOY!! and something that's an AIR TIGHT machine designed to do a job, BY GOING UNDER WATER

I don't consider a vehicle a submarine unless it has a pressurized cabin or cockpit nor does my late father who was a submariner in the US Navy, served in 'Nam and was the chief engineer of his boat. If you have to wear SCUBA gear to operate it, it's just an underwater jet ski or something with an underwater motor to propel someone in SCUBA gear, not a submarine. My father is probably more insulted by you lumping underwater jet skis with submarines. If you need to wear SCUBA gear to use it, it's NOT A SUBMARINE. My late best friend who was a sonar supervisor on his nuke submarine probably also agrees with my father and me. He was also a US Navy diver. Submarines have a pressurized cabin or cockpit. Major thumbs down. 👎👎👎

vicarious redemption through human sacrifice is evil. a lie told by power hungry child molesting priests to remain in power. it's immoral in the extreme to forgive your sins by human sacrifice and scapegoating. . . . threatened with hellfire for just thinking the wrong thoughts or eating meat on weird days or having sex upside down, these are all human concepts no god would give a flying fuck about any of that. if you want to be a sheep that's fine, but don't come here and preach your BS , we're not taking it anymore. you're welcome to play with your toys , even invite other like minded people to play with them, but don't come to my door and insist i play with your toys. or that my kids play with them, is that clear enough? do i finally make a point here? you jesus freaks all can't be happy with your "savior" in private nope, you aren't happy unless EVERYONE believes as you do. take your tooth fairy and shove it as far sideways up your ignorant ass as it can go
