Ya it’s strong because Trashcan is broken! Whoever decided to give a legendary with great stat product an additional OP coverage move with a 50% debuff chance is crazy.

You’re right for what it’s worth. The side cups where they ban out the S-Tier meta are a lot more fun. What makes it worse is running counters isn’t as reliable in this game due to the way alignment works so running 3 S-Tier meta mons with good IVs and XL candy puts you leagues ahead. I really like when people play genuine spice because the game is a lot more fun that way imo. Sadly at the higher elos (or even the lower ones these days due to everybody rank tanking) if you don’t run meta you will get stomped. Just that kinda game.

Registeel still has hardcounters. Many run PUP or Dynamic Punch on their Medichamps this season. Registeel hates that.

@@jankees4037 nobody runs DP, and there’s a lot more ice punch Medicham because all the flyers. Plus with Zap cannon debuff, sometimes PuP doesn’t even matter.

Was watching an older video of yours where your Sableye had mediocre IVs and was contemplating building one myself as I haven't been able to get a good one. Checked the team today and you've clearly improved it substantially. Is there any value you think in dropping 50 XLs on a mid-range one? Best I have is a 9/11/13. Or better to just keep trying to grind the leader to get a suitable one?

Grind grind grind. The extra bulk is SO nice to have. Especially now, grind it out because there is a guarantee that you know you can get the sableye no matter what (and possibly shiny!) I saw this the other day: buy nice or buy twice. You'll find one, I'm sure!

About the Medicham and Lanturn combo.... My team is also double weak to Trevenant but the reason why it works (for the most part) is that Trevenant is much less common now with all of the wing attackers out there now.

Regi puts a lot of leads because of you having Peliper in the back. Peliper triggers grassx2, ground, fighting, fire etc. The Bastion at the front was because it is fire typing. Algorithm is moves that are good or bad against their pokemon in the back. And for them the same. Their Bastion is good in this case against the Peliper because rock defeats flying and second trigger here even that rock loses to water. That is matchmaking the Niantic way.

I appreciate your content, insight, and commentary; however, I think it should be said that you may need to work a bit on preventing the smacking sound from being registered by your mic. I hear you smack your lips quite frequently, and I personally find it repulsive. That being said, I've been a long-time fan for many years now. Unless you are going for some kind of ASMR effect, please consider adjusting your mannerisms. This is something I have had to do myself as I work remotely in customer service, and my mic is always right next to my mouth.
