the 3200 is great for lures too. Have one for Megabass crankbaits and topwater, and one for my osp crankbaits and top water. Looks nice and foam keeps them in place from rattling or hooks getting tangled.

Good Review, like always, I’m sure some anglers would benefit with these boxes. The boxes themselves are a No-Go for me; I’ve been through most brands and have landed on the Plano Edge for all hard and wire baits; Bass Mafia Money Bags for plastics; all of those boxes and bags pretty much stay in my boat. The Duo Side 250 and the 388DD would probably be the best boxes for me, to take my sons pond hopping.

Regarding the Gamakatsu Deep boxes, they are also available in options that don't have dividers. I find them handy for carrying soft plastics in the original packs/blisters. I think they can be had in 3200 deep, 3500 deep, 3700 deep. Also, I think the slit foam boxes are so versatile. You can carry hooks / jigs / ned heads and so much more in them. Even bullet or cylinder weights, and some treble baits like jerkbaits and small cranks and chatterbaits. If only the slit-foam was available in Deep box options, I'd like to use them for crankbaits and topwater. While I like the wide-range of Plano solutions, I find that the Edge boxes are unnecessarily heavy. I try to keep things light, especially when loading up a bag for bank fishing or co-angling. These Gamakatsu boxes have been a revelation for those purposes, particularly the foam ones. Daiwa Austraila has a new line of "D-Box" with foam slits that resemble the Gruv fishing boxes, and if they expand the size lineup could be a contender, but no word yet on whether they will be released in the US-market.

I needed a deep box for the way I store my terminal tackle and it was between the deep GBox and the deep Spro box. I went with the Spro but I will be picking up one of these now after your video I think it will actually work better. Thanks for the review!

Plano Custom Divider box... cheap flex box from plano with tons of slots to adjust small increments. They only have maybe 3 size options though, and inside isn't the two big sides, I think it's 4 smaller rows like most plano are.

Awesome, thanks for doing this review! I was actually looking at these Gamakatsu boxes over the holidays and put the dual sided one on my Tackle Warehouse wishlist but decided to hold off. They look pretty good though so I may grab one for my birthday coming next month. Out of curiosity, have you used the Gruv tackle boxes at all? If so what are your thoughts? I've been thinking about trying the jig box that they make.
