Most fragrant plants of my British garden: Lilium regale, the Regal Lily / Royal lily / King's Lily

I have this lilies in my garden. And the perfume is extremely strong and floral to me with notes of almond on the background. I love this lilium regale. I am a sucker for lilies ❤️

This lily (let's say ALL Lilum regale varieties) is amazingly fragrant, especially during the night, when it's definitely stronger and sweeter... Actually, during the day I can detect something a little bit heavy and foul in its fragrance, which vanishes at night while good notes intensify and are carried pretty long distances by the dusk air! A beauty that I'll take for sure into my new garden!

sensitivity to scent is very different from person to person, so probably your sense of smell is a lot better than mine in getting not only the difference in scent intensity, but also in the fragrance notes. Glad you are enjoying this wonderful species, it is indeed also one of my favorite lilies !!!

Surprisingly Crinum moorie lily look very similar and deeply scented but different species..thanks .

Lilium regale is very tall, I think Crinum moorei is shorter, but still very beautiful and very fragrant

@@plantreviewsuk1204 absolutely Sir..even personally also I don't like any trumpet shaped flower like regale,which is less scented than moorie which in cup shaped..thanks a lot Sir..have a great year ahead 🌿🌿🌿

@@foxybuddy brownii is also a trumpet lily, but by the photos I could see on internet, the tepals have a more diffused brown-beige colour than in Lilium regale; also, regale looks to me much taller than brownii

it is very difficult to understand what you wrote as obviously English is not your first language, however looks like at least you enjoyed the information regarding this plant, for what is understandable in your writing; some corrections for your English: 1) "you makes me to believe" is incorrect, the correct form is "you make me believe"; 2) "you constantly didn't pass the English class" is also incorrect, the correct form is "you have not been passing English class constantly"; 3) "your beyond ridiculously prepared with real information regarding this plant" makes no sense in English, because there is no verb in the sentence you wrote, however seems that I am well prepared with good information about this plant, so thank you.
