I read somewhere the door handle is made this way is actually to force the passenger to use the left hand to open when sitting at the right side.... this will naturally make the head do a blind spot check..... 😅😅

The air-con is not cold because by default, BMW sets the air-con setting to USA region (by default) which has 4 seasons, so if you software code the air-con to "rest of the world" setting, the air-con will be much cooler. I don't think warranty will void, it's just a simple toggle of settings using the right software available out there. Jon seems a little stiff, don't worry, watch a few car reviews like Carwow, to get a few tips on car review in an informative yet fun casual way. Looking forward to see Jon presenting to get more variety in presenters.

That was a great review very detailed very helpful I'm looking at one now and I'm trying to decide if I want to get a John Cooper Works or just the s I don't have much choice they're hard to come by. I believe the air can be fixed quite simply by going to the dealer and telling him to fix it and the door handles I'm curious when I go sit in the car hopefully soon I'll try using my left hand in the door handles and see if that how awkward that is it seems kind of strange that they did that without a real reason behind it. You also should have mentioned the back seat also has an extra stand to hold the back seat upright so that you get more Luggage in it least I believe that has it in. Great review though.

Have sat in this car (friend of mine) a couple of years back; no doubt it’s indeed feistier, faster and more fun than other compact cars but its small boot space as well as the annoying “tick tock” sound made when signalling don’t really appeal to me. All in all, it’s an awesome review! Two thumbs up for the wonderful hosts! 👍🏻👍🏻

3:56 The interior door handles are designed that way on purpose- it’s made to encourage passengers/ especially the driver to use the other hand to open (which forces the body to turn) so they can look for oncoming traffic before opening the door. Please do your research before making bold claims like that 😂

The clubman rear view visibility is like not very good The centre seat like block a lot of the visual real estate.

I have a 2017 Clubman JCW and I have no trouble with rest visibility. Just told down the head rests and it is fine. I also find that the rear barn doors do not present an issue.

First time in a modern generation MINI? Its only taken you about 20yrs to do that. 😉 I think you've also mistakenly listed it as a 7spd Steptronic initially but later corrected to say it's a DCT

Actually BMW calls the transmission for the MINI a "7-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with double clutch". I must say it's a little confusing too - Jon

I think the reviews are getting better but the boot review was slightly sloppy and seem unprepared. That being said the more you do the better you get and your own style. I like some slingish in it which i can hear and that makes it Singaporean. And we are proud of our Singlish!
