@@lotusman992 man I'm Malaysian 😂 . I'm currently pursuing Macroeconomics and Geopolitics in India though . From what we were taught is that Nepalese PM Jung Bahadur Rana betrayed India and shook hands with British Empire to help them with Gorkha soldiers to fight against Indian freedom fighters . British agreed to this and let him autonomy over Nepal in Return . That's why be it crushing of rebellion of Awadh or Jalianwala Bagh Massacre that killed Millions of Indians including children, women and even pregnant ladies , it was Gorkha soldiers helping and assisting British Army . Even Jung Bahadur Rana was later honoured by British Confederation Medal by Queen Elizabeth for his services to the British Regime . Even today Gorkha Soldiers server the Nato Army from British side with half the pay wage and non commissioned ranks there . So , not being slave to the British rule is nothing to be proud of . You guys just backstabbed and betrayed India for your own selfish Motives . Even America was colonized by British but now it is the strongest Nation on Earth . Nepal on the other hand despite being free is the 4th poorest Nation of Asia after Yemen , Afghanistan and East Timor 😂

I am from Delhi, India which sits at around 215-300m above sea level, but I was able to trek up and down to a mountain peak at an altitude of 6,000m in a single day! This peak is located in Spiti region of India's Himachal Pradesh state high up in the Himalayan Mountain. The trek was 12kms one-way, which means that I trekked 24kms, starting from around 4,400m altitude all the way up to the 6,000m high mountain peak! Being at the summit gave me stunning views of the thickly glaciated rear face of the mountain that I had summitted and the whole mountain range behind wholly covered under a thick glacier running all the way down into a deep gorge. I was there in peak summer, and it was still snowing on that peak. The oxygen up there was really thin, and this coupled with the snowy, extremely windy, negative temperature at the summit started causing me headache because of which I did not stay at the summit for more than 25-odd mins. This peak is one of the very few trekkable mountain peaks in the world which are above 6,000m. Most other peaks that tall fall under the category of mountaineering.

Partially correct. A large chunk of the legacy Gorkha troops from Colonial era is now with the Indian Army. The several regiments of the "Gorkha RIfles" are few of the most decorated fighting forces of India. With a mix of Indian and Nepalese Gorkhas. Of course, the number of Nepalese origin Gorkhas is now on the decline due to various socio-political factors.

2:22 since nobody seems to have said anything ill answer. firstly most countries got good deals from Britain, so im not sure where this whole Britain screws people over idea comes from, historians will tell you the opposite, Nepal being a prime example. secondly they get citizenship, training, free education, homes, and not only better pay that any job in Nepal, but their families lives get significantly better from a family member becoming part of the British army, on top of that 1% of Britain's yearly budget is put to one side and sent straight to Nepal, Britain spends 46 billion on defense every year on defense (4th biggest in the world), that equals 2% of its budget, meaning Nepal gets 23 billion pounds every year from Britain because of the deal mentioned in the video.
