It was actually Sam last episode that unintentionally convinced Ted to bring Jamie back. He reminded Ted that his loving father thought Ted a suitable stand-in for his father, which reminded Ted that Jamie really needed help in that area. And a chance, at least.

The story arc of Jamie tartt is absolutely incredible. We all fucking hated him in the beginning and slowly we understand Jamie and slowly start to like him. The writers are amazing.

I think that's it. There aren't many truly "sad" moments on the show but some of the character development is beautiful and certain moments catch you off guard. The one big sad moment is yet to come so I won't spoil it, but it's one of my favourite TV moments in recent years

nora encompasses the "kids say the simplest things that break your heart" thing. like, the line about wanting to see how a football club is run just because rebecca does it? oof also, love jamie and sam and how far they've come! ugh, jamie's character development is top tier

Dudes, ive been watching all your Ted Lasso Reactions. I wanna say a few things. First of all, I love how real you guys are with any of your reactions, you seem like REAL people unlike many other channels, where people are overly loud and hype. It makes me want to watch you guys way more than others. Second, I love seeing you guys feel the emotions from this show, because goddammit this show is so heartwarming and good! Keep doing you! Guys, I don't think this episode was sad. On the contrary, I think you guys were crying happy tears by the end hahaha. I don't know what happened to me, and I do know the show is very moving and one of the most heartfelt shows in recent times, but I balled my eyes out throughout all of the show. I binged watched it recently, I just finished it whole this past month and I don't know if I was in a certain place in my life or a certain mental state but oh boy. And yeah, for you, it might get worse this season. But those are mostly happy, nostalgic, melancholic tears. It means the show really succeedeed in pulling those heart strings.

Dubai Air wasn't upset about their portrayal because... they're not real. This is one of those situations where it seems like something SHOULD be real but isn't. It relies on the resemblance to both Emirates Air and Qatar Airlines though (both real Airlines in that same part of the world).

All I could think about during Sam’s press conference was that in the non tv show world, accusing a corrupt government of corruption would have gotten his family killed. I’m glad that that’s not how this episode ended. I wish we lived in this world and not the real one.
