The airport scene - Jenna was actually telling Steve how much she appreciated him The 9,986,000 minutes song - Steve had no idea that they were going to sing that And the scene with the teapot card - John Krasinski actually wrote Jenna what their friendship meant to him It really just tells you how close the cast was

I've never seen any kind of confirmation from official sources regarding the second fact. Tried to search for it and everything. Where have you heard it from? I know the teapot scene was discussed in the Office Ladies podcast, and I'm still going through the episodes so I don't know if they talked about the last dundies scene, but they haven't even reached the season where Steve leaves yet. I always see people talking about this tidbit like it is universally known but I've never seen anyone from the production team or from the cast actually saying it. Would love to be proved wrong, though, that is such a heartwarming story

@@menoguchi I watched a video discussing the moments that were real and I already knew the teapot scene and airport scene was real from office ladies , the video mentioned those too, so I assumed since they had two true facts the third one was too Also watching the scene back again I can definitely look at his face and emotions and see Steve Carrell and not Micheal Scott The information might be false but that emotion looks really genuine

That reminds me of the Viewing Party episode from season 7 where Pam tries to put Cece to sleep and it wasn’t until Dwight held her in his arms and almost immediately she stopped crying and fell asleep only to have Pam come to the realization that Cece loves Dwight. Since then I’ve wondered if they’ve ever given any thought about a potential relationship involving Cece and Phillip just to make Dwight and Jim brother-in-laws. It’s been my biggest fan theory since The Office (US) was canceled.

I think Michael underneath his annoying and obnoxious personality is a sweet, caring, and nice person. I think because Michael was bullied as a child, he was taught that it was cool to be obnoxious and was taught that saying rude jokes was cool and funny. Its when Holly shows up that he realizes that being a nice person is cooler than being the way he is. Which is just amazing, character building. I always thought the show was the growth of Michael. Every season he usually becomes more and more of a better person right up until he leaves, when his character is complete. And I think mostly Jim and Pam realize that Michael was really a good person.

@@PatrickMahomes15Chiefs I’m from Scranton, PA, and The Office is literally the most interesting thing to happen to Scranton since the coal mining days. The Office is definitely a hit, but narratively it really suffers after Michael leaves. Then it’s tolerable at best until the finale. I’m not saying one is better than the other; I’m simply saying Schitt’s Creek is equally stellar and is something to watch if you don’t want to get Peacock and watch The Office.

That whole plot was done perfectly because they build that Jim said something terrible about relationships or about Pam and then the slow reveal of the fact that Jim told her dad that he always knew she was his soulmate makes me literally feel how much the actors became these characters. John and Jenna might not be in love in real life but they do have a deep emotional connection to their characters and their relationship. I love how the only person who came and actually admired Pam’s art (Oscar came and talked bad about it which made Pam feel bad so it doesn’t count) was Michael, and the only person that came to the airport to say the last goodbye to Michael was Pam. Pam was the only person who truly understood Michael, she was like a daughter to him, she always was there for him, and though they didn’t always get along, Pam’s really the only person that Michael showed his sweet side to, not making jokes, just being nice because he truly loves her, I dont know why I just think they had such an amazing relationship it’s awesome.

It’s the Oscar and Angela scene for me. They’re both such cold and awkward characters, but they have an amazing connection. The senator drove a wedge between them, but they overcame it together. Angela had a baby to support, and her ex husband had thrown her out on the streets. Oscar wasn’t going to let her go through that alone. They had one of the best storylines in the show in my opinion.

It especially warms my heart to see how Angela had been judgemental and cruel towards him because of her religion, but overcame that and saw him as a person first, then a friend, and by then his sexual orientation doesn’t matter. It’s so beautiful, this show is actually genius writing.

One of the reasons this show touches hearts so much is that, to this day, the cast loves each other as real people, and that shined through on the show. They truly cared about each other and didn't have to pretend. That is rare, and part of what makes this show forever iconic. Additionally, so many of the cast are so much like their characters in real life. If only Pam and Jim had actually gotten married. LOL. Some of the back story admits that they at one time had feelings for each other, and almost became a real life couple. Jenna has admitted as much. Such an amazing show all around. May never be another that can make one laugh and cry like this one, all at once.
