What is Hinduism? +++++++++++++++ I have long pondered on what constitutes this so called religion that sweepingly generalises the 'Indian' people and sitting on their head (as cultural hegemony) and have come up with some conclusions .... A group of priest from the Zoroastrian religion (known as Aryans) came to 'India' with their Avestan language and fire rituals and later created some slogans to form the Oral Vedas which was never in written form (modern Sanskrit) until after the 5th century AD. These priest learnt the principles of the Samana tradition( the mother of Jainism and Buddhism) that originated in the Indus Valley Civilization and thrived all over the sub continent with Tamizh and started incorporating(stealing)it into their already existent vaiteegam (senseless fire ritual) and produced the Upanishad (later even the Bhagavad-Gita and Epics were hijacked) and became vegetarians. For a solid philosophical footing which they needed in a highly philosophized Tamizh (Samana Palli language just as Prakrit is Jain and Pali is Buddhist) infused land(Sanatan Dharma- people's religiosity)about the 8th century scribes like Adi Sankara came up with Advaita logic that distorted the original Buddhist(Sunya-Void) thoughts and produced a dichotomical nonsense which did not last the test of time. Later they took up the Tantric Samana Tamizh tradition about the 10th century and put forth the bakti methodology (blind surrender). This was inspired by the Christian tradition also. Bakti was based on subtle erotism and appealed to the masses(like cinemas). The high Samana Tantra philosophical basis was ruined for the newly conjectured Saiva and Vainava cult of the wretched puranic tales (porn stories). This is the history of the Priestly class(Brahmins) that still retain their priesthood in the agamic temples(lifeless stone worship) that held sway through the bakti movement from the 10th century onwards. The consecutive non-Tamizh rulers( Brahmin admixtured race such as Vaduga Telugus) firmly rooted the new found 'Hindu' religion with its caste (karmic birth) institution (twisted from the Samana four occupational make-up of society aka Farmers, Merchants, Rulers, Philosophers) with the insidious brahmin malicious agenda of Non-Dharmic segregation (untouchability) which the colonial British gave the general name by which sealing the new found religion hence the Brahmanic hegemony as Hindooism....

The most practical solution I think is creating a temple system. It will focus on providing education - both traditional and modern, organizing events that give information about Dharma, Yog and Dhyan, providing platform for discussions, etc. activities. Also, they should give direct cheques for the education fees and healthcare services to those that need them. (Middle class is now getting burnt because schooling, medical facilities getting ridiculously expensive, this can be a solution for that) Another thing is, providing knowledge of Shastra (not just Shaastra), Yuddha, Rajneeti etc. This will be done by Daan that temples receive. And if people see the result, donations can increase. I don't know how much current temples contribute to hindu society at such a ground level. And most of all, having a system that doesn't depend on politicians, bcz they are unpredictable. A system run by people for people. Too idealistic perhaps but the only practical solution.

I was also in my growing up years at the time when India got liberalised, satellite channels started arriving with Western content and Bollywood by late 90's was full of Urdu, Shayari, type contents. But I was lucky to have studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya that was very close to an Army School as well. So I did realise the value, tough life of Armed Services families and soldiers at a young age. The value of independence.

Hindus are hindus not because of their name but more because of their "गुण", "धर्म" and "कर्म"। our duty towards our dharma and rashtra will safe our basic identity more than anything else. शेर अगर घास खाने लगे तो हम उसको शेर तो कहेंगे परंतु हमारा मन उस के शेर होने पर बार बार सवाल उठाता रहेगा। इसी प्रकार से केवल "कुल-जाति" में जन्म लेना ही काफी नहीं बल्कि उसके अनुसार कर्म करना भी बहुत आवश्यक होता है।।

Divide Hindus among castes, languages and unite minorities is the strategy of congress from 1947. The damage that congress gave to Hindus by taking away temples and there by temple economy and veda Patthashala made Hindus unorganised and uninformed . Now organised and thereby informed minorities (Christians and Muslims) are ruling uninformed thereby unorganised majority ( Hindus) In my native at time of 1990s lot of Tamil people came for backyard work. They were hard core Hindus till 2009. Two of them are Murugan and selvaraj who were devotees of Guruvayurappan and Ayyappan I was away from this place till 2015. When returned back I found them Christians with name Stephan and Joseph. They hate Hinduism and Hindu gods. Entire family also converted. UPA 10 years of governance changed this. But 10 years of Modi wasted time to bring them back.
