I'm in agreement with most of that except the pleasure taking. Most citizens don't understand that sadism itself is a marker of antisocial personality disorder, which is an umbrella term for psychopathy and sociopathy. If you look at his forehead, he doesn't have the deep brow furrows people with higher levels of empathy have. The cop may be protecting people, but he's a sociopath. Sadism requires a combination of narcissism, psychopathy, and machiavellianism. Those people are attracted to positions in law enforcement. Now, ASPD is not a crime. I'm just tired of people seeing sociopaths as heros. He's a law enforcer who hurts people and protects people. He's good in that he protects victims, but he's not really someone to admire. How many times do feel he's made a mistake and gotten someone innocent hurt? How many times do you think someone witnesses what he's gone through until they become so hurt that they simply give into a little bit of apathy and do their job with less careful decision making and discernment? How much less discernment and caution is required to misjudge a situation or an individual? How much imperfect judgement is required to accidentally harm the innocent? You see? Tired of the victims having no rights. All rights for perpetrators! Poor families have to live with this!
@TheTuttle995 ай бұрын
What rights for the victim are you proposing? What rights could they even be given?
@cissiepierce6645 ай бұрын
@@TheTuttle99 We can start with defining victim/victims (actual person murdered and their surviving family and friends). Then address the following: during the trial and subsequent appeals of the monster who murdered my grandmother (Honey) I became concerned with the fact that I was constantly being told about the rights of the murderer without any mention of Honey’s rights. When I questioned our district attorney by asking “what about my grandmother’s rights”? His response was; “your grandmother doesn’t have any rights, she’s dead”. Honey didn’t voluntarily give up her rights, they were stolen from her along with her LIFE! When the process allows a convicted murderer to dodge the lawful application of his sentence for 15 years with frivolous motions intended to misuse the time and financial resources of the court (claiming that the sodomy of a 90 year old woman who had been beaten half to death before the sodomy by a twenty year old monster was “consensual sex”) or by deliberately missing filing dates (a much used ploy by defense attorneys) to extend those time constraints and further drain the courts resources is consistently allowed for fear of “interfering with the rights of the convicted perpetrator”, a timely pursuit of justice and a genuine respect for fair and reasonable administration of the law is lost! So that is exactly what I am proposing, a genuine respect of and fair and reasonable administration of the law for all. I will interject here that I and speaking of a murderer who was convicted by his finger prints (some in her blood) on items that he touched while in her house or stole from her home. His DNA collected from inside and on her dead body (sperm). His actual confession. Testimony of individuals that he sold or gave items from Honey’s home. . . Honey’s murderer was allowed 15 years to manipulate and abuse our judicial system during which time he got to see and interact with his family and friends through visitations and phone calls. Honey received a death sentence by his hands and we got a “life sentence” without her! Is my explanation of what rights the victim/victims could be given or even deserve enough? Must the victim/victims be denied all right to a fair and timely pursuit of justice? Put yourself in the position of the victim/victims when you ponder that question, if you even bother to do so.

People say things like "capital punishment won't bring back the dead..." and my answer is that neither will life in prison. However, life in prison does provide food and shelter for life and the taxpayers pay for it, so if your daughter for example was the victim in the horrible crime, and the murderer got life in prison, then it is the parents of the victim who are partially providing lifetime free food and shelter to the person that took away their daughter.

Back in about 1996 in downtown Orlando FL, I operated the sound and video equipment for a meeting with Mr and Mrs Rice (Jimmy) and a room full of State Officials. The speaker was a doctor who had spent her life studying pedophiles. She was supposed to be the best of the best, and she said that there was NO chance of recovery for pedophile people. The videos I had to show for the conference deeply hurt me. This famous doctor was trying to get a law with no release.
