Well hell is a very real place and God does get vengeance in the end these people including everyone either go to hell or heaven and the choice is solely based on trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing he is God in the flesh that he died as sacrifice for your sins and died and was resurrected. Repent of your sin and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you if you truly mean it he will and he knows if you're sincere.

In a lot of nations or other places, being a barbarian is as normal as being a regular citizen here. It's all a matter of social conditioning. Even so, it wasn't that long ago in the West that we were lynching people or stoning them to death. This isn't to say that any of that is acceptable though. @@TheTuttle99 We can start with defining victim/victims (actual person murdered and their surviving family and friends). Then address the following: during the trial and subsequent appeals of the monster who murdered my grandmother (Honey) I became concerned with the fact that I was constantly being told about the rights of the murderer without any mention of Honey’s rights. When I questioned our district attorney by asking “what about my grandmother’s rights”? His response was; “your grandmother doesn’t have any rights, she’s dead”. Honey didn’t voluntarily give up her rights, they were stolen from her along with her LIFE! When the process allows a convicted murderer to dodge the lawful application of his sentence for 15 years with frivolous motions intended to misuse the time and financial resources of the court (claiming that the sodomy of a 90 year old woman who had been beaten half to death before the sodomy by a twenty year old monster was “consensual sex”) or by deliberately missing filing dates (a much used ploy by defense attorneys) to extend those time constraints and further drain the courts resources is consistently allowed for fear of “interfering with the rights of the convicted perpetrator”, a timely pursuit of justice and a genuine respect for fair and reasonable administration of the law is lost! So that is exactly what I am proposing, a genuine respect of and fair and reasonable administration of the law for all. I will interject here that I and speaking of a murderer who was convicted by his finger prints (some in her blood) on items that he touched while in her house or stole from her home. His DNA collected from inside and on her dead body (sperm). His actual confession. Testimony of individuals that he sold or gave items from Honey’s home. . . Honey’s murderer was allowed 15 years to manipulate and abuse our judicial system during which time he got to see and interact with his family and friends through visitations and phone calls. Honey received a death sentence by his hands and we got a “life sentence” without her! Is my explanation of what rights the victim/victims could be given or even deserve enough? Must the victim/victims be denied all right to a fair and timely pursuit of justice? Put yourself in the position of the victim/victims when you ponder that question, if you even bother to do so.

The videos I had to show for the conference deeply hurt me. This famous doctor was trying to get a law with no release. People say things like "capital punishment won't bring back the dead..." and my answer is that neither will life in prison. However, life in prison does provide food and shelter for life and the taxpayers pay for it, so if your daughter for example was the victim in the horrible crime, and the murderer got life in prison, then it is the parents of the victim who are partially providing lifetime free food and shelter to the person that took away their daughter.

Then I had another student who killed his ex-girlfriend and almost killed her sister. Was my first student who went to death row and Executed. What I seen and heard of .I can only imagine what these cops see in only 2 hours into a shift.

Sheriff Grady Judd is an absolute legend and despite living in the Midwest, I try to never miss a news conference! It’s so refreshing to hear someone speak clearly about law and order! That’s what we need! Desperately!

EXACALLY!!! I owned the local COP bar in my town back in the 1990s. I'll never forget a conversation I had one of our long standing Judges month's before he retired. I asked him what he wanted to do in the time he had left before retirement. ALL he wanted was to be the Judge on a case he could give them the sentence they diserved.. saying in California every lawyer uses they were on Drug's that automatically reduces the penalty he could give them. Imagine a 75 year old Judge who's hands had been tied for the last twenty years of his career that he just wanted a bad man that wasn't a drug user.

I chuckled when I read your comment. My wife and I just spent 10 days in Scotland this past April. We took trains to Edinburg, Inverness and Glasgow and even rented a car in Inverness and drove up to Ullapool. There wasn't 1 second that I ever felt anything but 100% safety and security in Scotland. Seldom ever saw a police officer. After getting home to USA (Carolinas) I asked my wife if she ever felt afraid or threatened in Scotland. Our only reaction was to laugh at the thought.
