@USI-united States of INDIA 🇮🇳 I mean I'm not an expert, but If you see how bangladesh basically looks like a country made of swamp, with allmost no safe ground to walk on, a lang bridge sounds like a realy massive improvement for the local population and is hopefully a super usefull and growth stimulating peace of infrastrsucture. The only thing that would make me headaches is inagining the trains and busses passing the bridge to be as overcrowded as some trains in india often are documented to be, with people attached to all sides of the waggons...I guess Bangladeshis might be pretty similar to Indian way of traveling by train... I think that bridge might turn out to be a deathtrap for people that travel by train surfing...

On the way back on the opposite side of the road there was a traffic jam that went all the way from the Italian border, the entire way through the country, and all the way to Munich. Imagine being stuck in a traffic jam longer than the length of an entire country! Glad we weren't on that side of the road. I agree but it does make me nervous. We’ve trashed our land so now we’re going to trash the oceans. I don’t see how these islands can realistically be sustainable. I need to learn about it, since I first heard of it only a week ago. I think we need to harness the power of the ocean currents and waves but they’re harnessing the wind above the water? Idk I live in a remote area in America where the land is littered with literally tens of thousands of wind turbines. I hate them so very much, especially since I don’t benefit from them. That’s the good part of wind turbines on the ocean, they don’t become an eyesore and trash everyone’s view of nature. I moved out here to get away from all of that but I feel like the city’s technology us chasing me down. Iykyk 🙁😩

Our time builds so soulless-ly. Classical architecture has existed for literally CENTURIES. What makes you think that an architect can simply bypass a style dating at least 2000 years ago that still looks great today? (enough to get people to travel all over the world to see it.) I don't even think it's massively more costly. It's just facade and proportions.

Where is the Istanbul Canal? But am most excited by New Cairo City and Clark City in the Philippines.
