Am bit confused with the new rule change..We filed Spouse open work permit and completed biometrics by July 22 nd..As per the new rule there wont be SOWP for one year masters courses(They haven’t implemented and just said this will be implemented later this year).As I took one year course will the approve or reject my application..What will be their status on previously filed application? Am bit confused whether to continue with this or change my course itself for two years..Do you have any idea over this??
@Anniealohan.lifeunscriptedАй бұрын
Honestly if you can change your course to 2 years that will keep you on the safer side incase of any change! But usually old or submitted applications are always exempt from new rules like this! It affects those submitting from Nov 1st.

@Anniealohan.lifeunscriptedАй бұрын
It is called dual intent! You can apply for different reasons to Canada simultaneously (temporary visa and even PR ) at the same time!
@Anniealohan.lifeunscriptedАй бұрын
Which ever comes first you can then send a letter to cancel the other or just ignore, they may eventually see it in their system when one Is granted! And for visit visas some times it takes way longer than 6 months for some people too so it’s very usual
