Victoria falls are in ZIMBABWE, not Zambia. Stunning views, insane people!
@dirkhoekstra7274 ай бұрын
Actually the Victoria falls are right on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The larger section of the Falls are in Zimbabwe, with a smaller part in Zambia. The Devil's Pool however is on the Zimbabwe side. The Falls are part of the Zambezi River which forms the border between the 2 countries.

Why is the Haiku Stairs in Hawaii being promoted here as a tourist attraction? I thought it was closed and illegal to hike? I understand there is however a safe and legal trail to the top, but it is from the other side of the mountain and not on the stairs.

@BRAIN TIME You should research these locations better before posting. Haiku trail is not what it's called. It's the Haiku Ridge Ladder, aka Stairway to Heaven. 3k steps. It's been closed and illegal to climb these stairs since the early 80's. Too many tourists and locals alike are trespassing through and damaging peoples private property to do the climb. Also since the closure, no maintenance has been done so the staircase is not stable.

Jacob's well in Texas has taken several lives. The complex cave system under the water in the Edward's Aquifer is confusing and has caused many a death. Do not dive the aquifer. Besides, over-population in Texas due to the influx of Californians and others has cause the over-exploitation of the Edwards aquifer and Jacob's Well is usually unable to flow, and Cypress Creek, which it feeds, runs dry. Too many people moving to Texas and too many wells being drilled.
