In the current tier list K.Rool is the third worst character in the entire game, only behind Little Mac and Ganondorf himself. But like you said, a good player on a low tier character is still dangerous especially with characters with ridiculous kill power like Ganon and K.Rool

@@janiesanewberry it’s mainly due to his speed and frame data. The meta in smash is always fast twitchy characters that can react quickly and have good frame data on landings, animations, and moving in the air (I.e. Sonic, Fox, Diddy Kong, Rob). If you look at the tier lists from not just Ultimate but most smash games, the heavy bruiser type characters are always at the bottom. It’s really unfortunate, because to me the heavy bruisers are always the most fun to play as and against.

Characters who are considered "top tier" are always the spammy ones with stupid abusable gimmicks, while the characters who are considered "low tier" are the characters who require actual skill.
