This is hands down one of the most impressive speedruns I've ever seen. There is so much rng to account for, and precision required to get a decent score as a casual player alone. The amount of skill needed to get a run that fast is just outright impressive!

Seeing this game brings back a lot of old memories. One thing I am grateful for is being a kid in the 80s, New Nes games releasing, real breakfast cereal, Saturday morning cartoons and Garbage Pail Kids. That was a different time in a different world. Great speed run!

I don't think ive seen this game in 30 years. It was the only game my father would play with me as a kid. And we struggled with it so much. Him being an old man who barely understood games and me being a young child in a new era. I wish he was around to see this.

one of my favorite nes games. played this like an addict in college and was able to get -20, -21. not sure how fast i actually played the game, but if you play this game religiously you can get really good at it and learn all of the clubs and angles to use w the different levels and directions of wind to get the ball very close to the pin on nearly every hole.

I think ever since the first golf game on Gameboy I have been trying to understand these golf video games. I just cannot seem to ever "calculate" anything correctly... Which is what makes this Speedrun even more impressive to me, as I know how much RNG goes into every course!

Realistically 6:45 is probably the upper limit of what’s doable by a human. Most holes you can’t actually make a holeout because only certain wind speeds allow for it. My sum of best is around 5:20
