I’d rather be a pilot than atc . I use MSFS 2020 now and it’s a blast . I play on Xbox tho but it’s amazingggg

I have personally witnessed moments like 0:33 and 2:32 multiple times working at Denver. This is spot on realism for operations at KDEN. Also you are the one who has massive balls going into KASE at night. There are local 135 operations who won't even do that, and for good reason.

@@Jimyoyo Whoops, I didn't forget to reply, shut up... I have a friend that plays flight sim on a modest gaming laptop that reportedly runs quite well. If you prioritise RAM and GPU, the other specs don't have to be off-the-charts-amazing for it to work. Check the minimum system requirements for flight sim before you buy a rig. As for equipment I just have a Thrustmaster HOTAS X, no fancy yokes or throttle quadrants.

If you turn on the speed bugs it will make it easier to climb at best rate when requested. Select FLC/ias (depending on what autopilot you are using) and set the speed to the Vy bug. That will be the best rate the Aircraft is capable of.

Taking into account the fact that the 737 is an aircraft you're supposed to land a little stiff. Especially with a contaminated runway (rain/snow/etc). I've always had really good landings flying on southwest. Out of many many flights. There was maybe 1 that was noticeably hard. Still within normal limits. But I was checking to make sure I still had all my teeth 😂. Talking to the pilot on the way off the plane. (another thing southwest pilots are super cool about. When we were boarding the pilot was showing a group of kids on a school trip the flight deck, and he told them the plane had machine guns and then activated the stick shaker test, and their eyes all lit up when that yoke started BRRTTT. Lol) Anyway. The pilot said not only was the braking action reported as poor due to slush, but that he was "Former Navy, but likes living in the US too much to go fly for Ryanair, so he only knows one kind of landing, and that's the positive kind" overall, as usual. On time arriving despite delayed on departure (southwest always seems to make up that time somehow. Flying east to west no less 🤔). Got loads of extra snacks cause the plane wasn't full, and the dude sitting next to me.. Honest to God. Looked like a stereotypical mobster. Like he walked off the set of the Sopranos. Cool dude though. Kept buying the row drinks, and the slick motherfucker actually managed to get the (very attractive) FA's phone number on a napkin after chatting her up all flight.. Lol. Absolute legend. The other dude in the row was An old farmer. So the conversations were pretty wild. Hell I have family who work for AA and could fly them for free. And they STILL fly southwest. It's always an experience. In a fun kinda way. Not a spirit airlines Jerry Springer kinda way. Peace!

A quick word of advice regarding the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight Stick. The gimbal is unfortunately very center spring weighted. Meaning it's very hard to make very fine adjustments. I retured my unit within 2 days as it was literally unplayable for me. The hat switch is wonderful though, yes.

If you're on PC, VKB Gladiator EVO hands down is the best stick available in that price bracket. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a separate throttle module, but there is a tiny axis on the base that you can use.
