Soldier guy can get really strong Sniper Rifles.

That basic soldier (Ranger) is one of the best for most encounters. That shotgun, if you land every pellet (depending on which one it is) is capable of out-dpsing most on-level vehicles. He also gets access to some of the longest-range, highest-velocity weapons, and there are a few gimmick weapons that are capable of the highest DPS possible in the game (But can't be reloaded). His dodge is the most versatile out of his and the Air-Raiders, as his dodge can bust through destroy-able objects (Except for buildings). The Air-Raider is generally more frail in that on foot all he has is explosives, so he needs to be protected because he can't do close quarters combat, but he is the most survivable by sheer tankiness when he gets in almost any vehicle (except for motorcycles. Those things try to intentionally sabotage you). He's a somewhat more advanced class, but generally is easier to play in most encounters if you have any other players to assist you. Also, Walking Fortress. He has some insane burst damage, but on long-cooldowns as his vehicles and some of his weapons run off of a credit system. Any time a bug dies, he gets a credit for every single weapon he uses that needs them. (This means that a credit-using weapon CAN kill enough bugs to use itself again.) Only the Air-raider and Ranger are able to drive most vehicles (some vehicles like the Walking Fortress are excepted, anybody can drive that one), but every character can get in any gunner/passenger seat. The wing diver is the squishiest but most mobile class. She has no dodge mechanic, so if she runs out of power at the wrong time, it's bye-bye wing diver. She is also capable of some of the highest DPS, if she can get close enough. She does have a reaction mechanic while knocked down, where she can flip back upwards. Basically, frail but deadly. She is the glass cannon of this game. Depending on what weapons you use, she can down anything with ease. Hehehe... I love my Grom. The Fencer is the Fencer. He is the tankiest (depending on player skill), most damaging, slowest class. Using an interaction between weapons, however, allows him to become the second-most mobile, trumping most (But not all) vehicles in sheer speed. He is the absolute strongest class, if you can master the ways his different weapons interact with each other. He takes the most skill to master, but is the strongest when mastered. He has a few reaction mechanics. If he has a dodge or jump, if he times them right he can avoid knockdowns. And the shields are the shields and let him reflect any projectile, provided it's in the radius.

Best moment in the game: Grabbing every single unit (Aside from the tanks, of course) on preventing landfall, and having them all yell "EDF! EDF!" repeatedly. So much hype. Sadly, voice commands seem to cause a memory leak or something on the class equip screen. Testing with my friend shows that sessions where we use no voice commands have an un-laggy equip screen, but sessions where we spam it have the laggiest equipment screen we've experienced in gaming.
