The cinematography of this film is incredible. And the shot durations used in certain scenes like the one where the bully was picking his victim for the game Knock down stay down. The way it dragged out and panned around the yard in an extended prolonged shot to build tension. The director of this movie needs to be in charge of more stuff. Personally I think he should be in charge of DC's rumored Black Lightning movie. I think the vision he has could be better than what has gone on in the tv show. This movie was really visually amazing and well acted.

Lol okay for everyone who doesn't understand the movie let me give you a basic summary or synopsis. The story is about finding love and acceptance and how it destroys when the people you love don't love you. Love comes in the strangest places but can have a lasting impact as shown by both Juan and Kevin. Yes the story consists of Homosexuality, and could have been told with both a man and woman as the central characters; however, the play right which inspired the screenplay is gay and this is a reflection of his truth. No it's not Brokeback mountain, as the character never lived in his truth. It's Moonlight. No everyone is going to like it as some believe the LGBTQ agenda is being forced upon them, while others simply don't care for the acting, or story as whole. But you have your own mind and preferences so honestly the film shouldn't bother you.
