I love that Isaac has Jo and Vee who show him what a healthy relationship looks like, and that Kail gets along so well with them. Brianna's mom and sister are both crippling her. The way her mom broke down crying as if SHE had been cheated on, catastrophising the situation, acting as if SHE needed the emotional support, it was incredibly selfish. In that moment, Brianna needed her mom to provide a safe space for HER to be able to fall apart, where she could rely on someone else to keep it together for HER and let her wade through HER emotions. Instead, she was forced to be her mom's support system. Her mom robbed her of the ability to process or even experience her own feelings at all. I can only imagine the lack of guidance, wisdom, and support Brianna received from her growing up; there was likely never any room for Brianna's feelings because her mom's were always so loud. And her sister, immediately ready to jump in and throw down in a situation that is none of her business? She wasn't leaving any room for Brianna's feelings either! She can't work on anything going inside of her if she's trying to keep everyone else from jumping off of a cliff instead. Brianna has never been taught, nor allowed, the opportunity to navigate her own life. It's nice to have a close knit family who are interested and involved in your life, but that entire dynamic is toxic and a severe impediment to her personal growth.

So my comment is really just limited to the situation that I saw here, I can't really speak to anything else 🤷🏼♀️ However, excusing my limited knowledge where it applies to Brianna, I must say I do personally agree that parents should exclude their personal feelings when making decisions for their children in the context of the other parent. Again, I don't know her circumstances, but I think that's a good rule of thumb for any parent.
@bethventuresx82832 жыл бұрын
It’s also pretty telling about the sister behaving the way she does. I’d say she has also been forced into a protective role because their mother isn’t allowing them any room for their emotions, and that’s why she is so aggressive and on the defence always. Constantly has to fix and protect.

@@emprissewalker9950 to be fair, corey wasn't perfect - didn't he cheat on miranda with leah? i do think he's one of the better dads on the show but i think leah has unfortunately learnt from her mom that cheating is okay (when obviously it isn't) and thats why she kept running back to robbie, since she did the same with jeremy as well. i think her biggest issue was they rushed into things and she probably thought she'd get back with robbie at some point.

After recently seeing Barbara sign parental rights for Jace over to Janelle, I look back and realize she was never a villain, she was never trying to keep her daughter down. She just wanted the best life for her grandson, and she wanted her daughter to pick herself up and be a good mom. It must have been so hard to see her teenager become a parent and spiral out of control, on top of being almost 60 years old. I have mad respect for Barbara. She does too much sometimes, 😂 but she is a good mother.
@SuzanneWaltimyer Жыл бұрын
Agreed. Looking back on these videos now, her mom was a saint. It's a shame she took so many years out of her own life that she can't get back, but she did it for her family. Barbara took alot of mouth from that 2nd boyfriend of Jenelle's (the one in the green), what a loser, she should have knocked him out the way he disrespected her.

And now, poor Jace is 14 and he is running away from his mother's house 3 times in 6 weeks, allegedly because her latest boyfriend assaulted this 14 yr old child. And apparently, CPS and the police have video footage that proves that Jace is telling the truth about the assault. This new guy is also EXTREMELY scary and has a nasty temper and a RIDICULOUSLY large collection of guns and ammunition and he has said he has no qualms about shooting anything that comes onto his property. He SHOULD NOT be trusted with a gun...especially not around innocent children. Honestly, I am NOT surprised Jace is struggling now, and doesn't have a close relationship with Jenelle, given how his Mom was never really there when he was little. And this show is streaming on Paramount+, so Jace could see first-hand his mother's neglect and constantly choosing drugs and bad men and everything else over being with her son. And from what I have read, Jace has now been placed in foster care because of how many times he has run away.
@ILookLikeDrakeSoYeah Жыл бұрын
@@CeltycSparrow I saw a video of him in Barbara’s passenger seat a few weeks ago, so hopefully he is back with her where he feels at home. But at the same time, considering the circumstances surrounding the Barbara and Janelle situation, I’m not sure that being with either of them would be best for him at this time. I just hope the kid feels safe and happy wherever he is.

Not for everyone. I was spoiled got almost whatever I wanted growing up & I raise my own kids. I don’t expect their Grandparents to do anything. They are mine I decided to have them.

I’m not even a Chelsea fan and I never watch her on the show but I’ve been in her spot when you break up and they move on quickly especially an abusive relationship. They seem so happy while you die inside and you feel like you’ll never be happy again it’s a hopeless feeling. I’m so happy things worked out for her,
