Brings back memories of the 90s. I grew up in Dastagir block 9 near Wahaj Hospital (Dr Qarni) played in Askari and Sangam ground, got haircuts from Irshad barbershop in front of Muhammadi Masjid and went to Aisha manzil for Rs.5 chicken soup on weekends!

Very impressive and sad Story I am Eye witness of this violence until 1988 . I belong to Karachi and leave 1988 as a young student in Germany . The main cause was MQM in 1986 they started to convince young people to join MQM Iwas not agreed want to Study . I live my life in Landhi . Landhi was main conflicted Area of Karach between MQM and MQM HAQEEQI. Apriciate your effort to bring thies stories for our young generation. Best wishes from Germany.

بہت اچھی معلوماتی وڈیو، جو آپ کو ماضِی میں لی جاتی ہے۔مجھے یاد ہے شاید 1984 کی ابتدا ء میں، میں پریمئیر کالج میں پڑھتا تھا، ہمارے کالج کی کینٹین میں مناف اپنے ایک دوست سہیل بلوچ کے ساتھ آیا کرتا تھا جو ناظم آباد میں پریمئیر کالچ کے پیچھے والے علاقے میں رہتا تھا۔ مناف چرس پینے کا دھتی تھا۔ جب بھی کینٹین میں آ کر بیٹھتا تو چرس والی سگریٹ پیتا تھا۔ لیکن ہمیں، جو اس وقت اس سے چھّوٹے تھے اور کالج کے اسٹوڈنٹ تھے کینٹین میں نہیں بیٹھنے دیتا تھا اور ڈانٹ کر کلاس میں بھیج دیتا تھا۔مناف کو کیپری سینما کے قریب مارا گیا۔ اسے مارنے کے لئے چار پانچ لڑکے بھیجے گئے تھَے کیونکہ انہیں معلوم تھا ذرا سی بھی چوک ہوئی تو مناف سب کو مار دے گا۔ بہرحال، وقت گذر گیا اورکراچی کے بڑے بڑے بدمعاش ایم۔کیو۔ ایم نے مروا دیئے۔

Part of story is missing, the 1992 operation… Murad and Mansoor was used to kill MQM by establishment… also gangs by 1988 in Karachi were already divided by ethnicity. Murad killed some very key members of PPI gang in lines area … so it was not one sided story

Fayyaz sir do you know hazrat noah pehlwan from keamari karachi. He was also a very famous and known personality and has a great life story. He was founder of karachi dock labour board union and was elected vice chairman and he was fighting for labour rights because of which he went through many difficulties and fights which resulted in deaths too. He was a close friend of mr bhutto also. Was just curious if you happen to know him although he died in 1993. May ALLAH SWT grant him jannat ul firdous

Mr Khan You have the luxury of sitting in Houston and making these podcasts by pulling out the buried death bodies. What are you trying to achieve? Nothing spectacular! I was born and raised in Karachi but hardly knew this terror adventirism by MQM or police force. Suffice would be to say that youth of Kutchi Abadi were made sector incharge to perpetrate terror and murders with leadership enjoying indemnity with the exception of Tariq Azeem.
