You have to train yourself to recite Fatiha quickly without mistakes and without disturbing others in masjid, so when you're in 3,4 rakaat you can finish with the imam incase he was too quick (if he's not then recite it peacefully) Note : if imam did ruku and you still didn't finish reciting fatiha, scholars said 🔹If you were just have 2/3 ayats left and you know you can recite them quickly and join the imam in ruku before he rise from it then DO IT. 🔹If you were so far left in ayats and you know that you can't finish or you know that imam will rise before you do ruku then GO TO RUKU and your prayer will be valid inshallah And Allah knows best

If it's invalid, what about those who joined in Rukuh and weren't given the chance to read it?

Salam 3leykoum, if you joined the imam before he goes in rukuh, you dont have to make up the rakat even if you don't recited the fatiha. But if you joined the imam after he standed up from rukuh, you will have to make up the rakat, and Allah knows best, Salam 3leykoum brother !👍

You don't recite anything when you're praying behind an Imam except the takbirs, the tasbeeh, and when you're in qaidah.

No, you do recite Fatiha in all four rakaats it's ركن , and you recite it whether it's in Jahr and Silent prayers (In jahr [loud] prayer you wait until imam finishes fatiha then you recite it in complete silence with moving your tongue of course)

@NKJ4K It is narrated in Sahih Muslim from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated: “When you pray make your rows straight and let anyone amongst you act as your Imam. Recite the takbir when he recites it and when he recites (the Qur’an), you should remain silent.” [Sahih Muslim, Bab al-Tashahhud fi al-Salah]. This applies to both when Imam is praying out loud or silently, the muqtadi remains silent. I'm not sure how you pray fatiha when the Imaam's praying out loud, afters he's prayed fatiha and a surah he calls for takbir, how do you pray if your suppose to remain silent?

@@kalm4766 - We were behind the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the dawn prayer, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, recited, but the recitation became difficult for him. When he finished, he said, “Perhaps you are reciting behind your imam.” We said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “Do not do so except with the Opening of the Book, for there is no prayer for one who does not recite it.” Narrator: Ubadah ibn al-Samit | Narrator: Ibn al-Mulaqqin | Source: Tuhfat al-Muhtaj | Page or number: 1/296 | Summary of the narrator’s ruling: Sahih or Hasan [as he stipulated for himself in the introduction] | Graduation: Narrated by Abu Dawud (823) and the wording is his, and by al-Tirmidhi (311) with a slight difference, and by al-Bukhari (756) and Muslim (394) in an abbreviated form with a slight difference You do it silently, and check the fatwah of Saleh Ibn othimine about reciting fatiha behind an imam in loud prayer

@kalm4766 i recite al faitha in silent namaz means last 2 rakhats And remain silent in first 2 rakhats when imam pray loudly

@@royale178 in a Hadith the prophet ﷺ told the sahaba to recite surah Al Fatiha even when the imam is reciting loudly because there is no prayer for the one who doesn't recite Al Fatiha. In short you have to recite surah Al Fatiha even when the imam is reciting (When he is reciting recite Al Fatiha secretly so you don't bother other worshipers and you have to move your lips) Check sheikh Ibn othimine fatwa on this

If it's to the degree of making you afraid/lazy to go to a random masjid, then it's the waswasa of the shaytan. You can still attain a lot of goodness praying in congregation in a masjid than praying alone despite the flaws of the imaam. May Allah protect us all from the accursed shaytan
