I don't have much golem experience myself, but a golem is generally played behind the tower. The only time it would be played at the bridge is if you're having a big elixir advantage and have troops that have defended and are ready for a counter attack.

Well it Depends Based on deck,playstyle and starting cards My deck is Executioner Clone Rocket Golem Nightwitch Balloon Lumberjack Guards Elirxi cost 4.8 I dont start with golem unless i have a rocket in hand for (ebarbs,sparky,inerno drag,inferno tower) I play night witch first only for defending tower and and organize my starting hand and cycle to cards i want, i use naked clone on golem if opponent use skeleton army or minions. Sometimes I use clone against tank killer if the tank killer becomes behind the golem(this gives golem more time to deal damage to towers and kills cheap troops) Main push in order golem Lumberjack Night witch Clone I put lumberjack before night witch because sometimes opponent use fireball log to kill night witch. I use clone right before opponent use fireball,log,zap (and valkry) to activate rage form dead clone lumberjack and now i have 8 bats Sometimes i use rocket to kill balloon or hog when to keep troops to defend against specific troop(and cycle cards) 3 crown push 100% winrate against 2.6 hog 100% fail against bridge spam and egiant My trophy range 6000 Ps. its hard to manage elixir with 4.8 elixir cost per troop

You gotta play passive with every other card, getting elixir advantages before playing golem. Even then, don't start with a golem in the back, because they might rush other lane. Start with support in the back, building a push reversed, then golem at the bridge in front of your troops to force a response

@Adam Huang There is no "when to play golem". It's always golem first play and you ignore whatever they play. If you play an 8 elixir card first play without knowing the opponent's deck and winning that match it means it's no skilled deck

@Adam Huang Yeah but again the fact that you gamble it means that it is low skilled. All the decks have counters for example xbow will always lose against hog EQ if they play it correctly and there is no gambling in that. If you ask me 50/50 is a good gamble cause most of the decks can't do that therefore they lose. Golem can beat every deck regardless of losing one of the princess towers in fact the only thing you need to do is to not get 3 crowned. I don't hate golem but the fact that you might play a lot better than opponent but still you lose because of 50/50 is really annoying. You can check the leaderboard and see the amount of golem players on top ladder. I don't mind playing against golem but one of 3-4 matchups is golem. The amount of golem players shows how easy it is to use compared to other decks and if it is easy to use it means it is low skilled. By the way it's not a personal opinion even most of the content creators and top players also believe in that.
