The irony is that the Taiping Uprising caused the death of 50 million people in China, far exceeding the death toll in World War I. The Taiping Rebellion was a cult founded by Hong Xiuquan. Its transactions plagiarized the Christian Bible and used this doctrine to gather believers to launch a war against the Qing Dynasty. Because the doctrine is too bizarre, Western countries do not consider it Christianity.
