This is fun to watch. I grew up fishing Cypress Creek and Spring Creek a little to the north, and a lot of the neighborhood retention ponds. There's some BIG fish in those urban and suburban creeks.

The biggest fish I've ever caught was a 57 lb blue cat. Great memory's with my uncle who is now gone, good catfishing to yah, be careful and good luck man.

So in a deep area your lower current is going to be faster than your higher current. Because your lower current is going down deep really fast. Especially on a cliffed area where it goes straight down it's going to double the speed and it will come back up at the same speed.

It's amazing how similar in appearance and texture the alligator snapping turtle's shell is to those rocks at the edge of the bayou. They both even possess green algae/moss coverage!
