The dedicated horse lover never quits. Horse are our lives/world. Life without a horse is empty. Facing that new formidable jump decides your character, are you strong, or weak? That feeling in the pit of your stomach. But as we say " throw your heart over, & follow it". You & (our partner horse) prove your'e strong. Fear either destroys, or makes a champion.

I'm watching alot of these motivation videos because I almost gave up on my dream to be an equestrian. I almost gave up and it kills me knowing I almost gave up on something that when I wake up I smile and remember all the good things I had with my horse, that makes me laugh, that makes my heart go crazy, but what also makes me sad and tired and cry every day because that one day I didnt get up I thought I would never live my dream again. Me and my horse got in an accident I was hurt pretty bad he was fine just a few scrapes but to live every day knowing I almost gave up makes me want to do this even more! I have to live my day like it's my last day here which one day it will be I may die riding I may not but I hope I do I want to die knowing I rode my horse for the last few breaths I had. I know I can do this I just need to not give up or give in because there is always an answer to everything. I almost gave up but I didnt and I'm not no matter if I fall off 100 times I will get back up 100000 times.

This is great work. Great speech. It’s perfect for people who think they suck at riding. People need to realize that everyone is gonna mess up. I’ve fallen 4 times (I know that’s not a lot) but every time I fell, I learned something new. Yes, I wanted to give up. Yes I thought I was gonna die. No, I didn’t give up and no I didn’t die but what really happened was…the bond between me and my horse got stronger. If anything, I learned more about his personality. For the people reading this, I wish you the best of luck on any upcoming events that you have, I hope you make it to regionals if you’re trying out. But do one thing for me……. Please Don’t Give Up.

It is very easy for people to give up on riding but trust me you will not want to give up. I had this horse that I rescued and was willing to train it. After many times of to leading with him I finally got on his back. His name is Chance btw. When I got on his back he started rearing and bucking. I was trying to keep him calmed down and eventually we did a lesson with no bucks, rears, bolts or anything! I was so proud of myself and Chance. 3 years later we are going over 3ft jumps. He still has those fails but not as much and I’m very proud of our journey.

Flash forward 2 years later i got back up in that saddle, i got bucked off again and again but i kept on dusting the dirt off of knees and getting up a second time, third time etc. I remember that night coming home from training after getting bucked off my mom and dad were really mad and scared. They weren't gonna allow me to ride ever again cause it was too risky. But after pleading for a couple of day i finally convinced them to allow me to ride."if it was easy everyone would do it" and i have been doing it ever since.

Before that year Is was fearless when I was on a horse, I even liked to fall of horses but I prefered of course to stay on them xD But after that year of my operation, everything chnged… If I would fall badly from a horse there is a chance that I have to get an operation and thats absolutly not good…Two monts ago I was learning a horse to jump but I almost fell. I havent jump on that horse since then, but I walked next to him and went like that over jumps… because I was just too fraid to fall. But now I watched this video I realize: I cant let my fear control my dream so from tomarow I start all over and even If I would fall, I'll just get up again! Even If It happens 100 times!

I only ride because my family owns horses so my parents bought me a horse and now I have three. When your just starting I recommend getting lessons first without leasing or buying a horse yet. Even though they do cost a lost my parents looked into a show team that my boarding place did and it was 200 dollars for 2 months. They included three lessons a week which would have ended up to be over a thousand dollars if I didn’t do that

like @@Kelly_Ben said, if you go to your local barn, ask if you can work in exchange for lessons instead of money. These people are usually really nice, they will understand if you can't pay. They know it costs a lot so don't worry. Lots of people do it, because everyone wins so the owner usually agrees. They have someone working for free, so its cheaper for them, and all they have to do is give you a 30 min lesson once or twice a week. think about it 💜

Today I learnt a lesson: Riding a horse is hard, finding the ‘one’ is harder. My first ever viewing was amazing. I fell in love with a horse, little did I know the dealer had sold deadly horses to beginners that had been doped on the day. The mistake was spotted the day before my gelding was due to arrive home. It’s disgusting that a gelding, at six years old, has arthritis On a hind leg from being over ridden. Be safe - Learn from my emotional rollercoaster
@cheyennemontuori16185 жыл бұрын
If you know who the dealer is then I would call ASPSA and tell them about it. They would take the horses away from the person for doing that to them. They would take them for being doped and being over ridden that made them injured

There was this one horse, who nobody liked. Who even I didn't like. Then there was this one day, when I went jumping with him. Because I used too much whip and pulled kinda hard from the mouth it went great and I started to love him. They used pelham bit on him. I didn't like it and I bought him. Many people have told me to give up on him and sell him. I ignored them. II jumped my first cross country jump. Now we rode 1.30m clear rounds with a normal bit, without spurs and whip. Even if some competitions go bad then I'm never mad at him. I just say that it will go better next time. We do free-style. Everyone who hated him now love him and want to ride him. I don't let them because they started it all with the wrong bit. We do have refuses, but I never blame on him or hit him with something. It took 6 years to recover him. We are soulmates and best friends. Since he is so great horse I'm going to teach him some dressage also. At first when I had to jump with him for the first time in my life, I was scared. Scared to get knocked down. But I said that it's going to go good. And it went. Some people say that we are meant for each other. He refused to go into a trailer. Now he goes into the trailer. He was afraid of water. Now he loves water. He was afraid of brick wall jumps. Now he jumps them.We didn't trust each other. And now we do. He is so gentle and friendly. If I'm laying on him in his stall without tack or anything, and when I slip off then he is later more careful. I love him.
