I think it has to do with the way the scores were calculated. The poll was done by asking people to rate each character on a 10-point scale. So, like, a lot of other polls just ask you for your #1 favorite, and if asked for only one, a lot of people will go for someone other than Sakura or Ryoma, because even though most people like/love them, they like another character even more. BUT with a 10-point scale, how much people love them in general (and not just as their top fave) is taken into account...so they end up way higher than in other polls. Which is cool, since I love them both. ❤️
