Something not mentioned in this video is that the Piney Orchard Ice Arena was originally built as the Washington Capitals hockey team training facility. They’ve since moved on and now there is a North American Hockey League team that plays their home games on Friday and Saturday nights called the Maryland Black Bears. Many fans from all over show up to these games as they play a very high level of Ice Hockey. They took over all the locker room space the capitals used to own and now use it as their own.

How is medical care rated in that area? Are there good hospitals and medical specialists? Colleges? What about the crime rate percentage?

It depends on what you’re looking for because many of the nearby hospitals are highly rated in various specialties. Plus we’re not far from Baltimore City, which has Johns Hopkins, Mercy, and others. Anne Arundel Medical Center is in Annapolis, which is about 15 mins away. Then there are a bunch of urgent care facilities and of course private practices. There are roughly 55 colleges/universities in Maryland. For crime rates you can check with the local Anne Arundel county police.
