Here are two ships I enjoy or made myself. Widowmaker X Reaper. Two Talon agents always hard at work for their team. After being sent into multiple important missions, they start to fall for each other. Both lost everything because of huge organizations. They both start anew, with each other. Bastion X Meka Bastion since awakening has been with his bird friend Ganymede, but he wants some interaction with the robots of the world. Lucio and D. Va see him at the brink of destruction in Numbani. Lucio and D. Va bring him to Lucio's home and heal him up. But Bastion sees Meka away from D. Va. The Meka can talk on it's own Bastion finds out. They bond together, and Bastion sticks to D. Va, Lucio, and especially Meka on the battlefield.

For those that think Widowmaker and Tracer don't work, you should see all the "clues" Blizzard makes with them. The only reason why there's so much fanfic is because of all the clues. For those that say "oh, they are total enemies. There's no way it could work", think about it like Batman and Catwoman. Sure, they have an off again on again relationship both in movies and TV series, but they are also a driving force together in video games and, of course, the comics. Opposites attract and these two actually make a very great couple. ALSO, if you think "what about Emily?" well, don't you think it odd that Tracer's girlfriend is a tall, lithe, graceful and beautiful woman named EMILY? Out of all the names they could have picked for her, she and Widow have the SAME NAME.

Well... When a yaoi fan girl found McCree (a hot space cowboy) and Hanzo (a hot Japanese guy showing skin), they will find ways to put them together even if it isn't canon. They find other fan girls and create fan arts and fan fictions out from anything and then post it in Tumblr. From small interactions, to fabricating scenarios just to make them click. Matt Mercer, McCree's voice actor, support the ship. Which basically like throwing gas can on an already massive forest fire.
