If anyone’s curious, this combo is FASTER than the boost fx. Did a couple tests in comparison, this combo goes up to 7590 RPM vs 6800 on the boost fx (stated on the box). Correct me if I’m wrong

The board is the 1st board that was going to be used. Tomb got hooked up 😊. And then they make dope shit so they activated the 3 led system. Now it would be dope if we had plug n play internal QI system and external led color changing tech ❤

@@marcosgranados6964 I would assume so. But blade adjustment is just as important if not the most important then just raw power. It's like a race car. You can have 850hp at the crank but the tires are bald and it won't get traction. Grab a fresh DCL blade or have a blade professionally sharpened. OMG my guy Russ did it to my old low pros.. all I am gonna say is holy crap. We are talking Oster 76 or octane level debulking.

One of my new barbers has the original babyliss fx. I have multiple boards but I have noticed I have the board that tomb 45 had but just with out the green cover and the led color switch. But it has ,3 leds on the board. Babyliss definitely changed the board and you guys grabbed those original boards and added that color changing tap in. Dope idea.

A special request. Red tomb 45 wireless adapter. Damn.. i have the 1 off. And the real one. I think the los cut it and a few of the influencer editions had a body issue with the metal size

@@Seancutshair the first los clipper I had the blade was alot further away (the inner moving blade,) then the gold. When I did a clean out tear down of the gold I noticed one the shaft was squared off instead of a round tip. The enemy of a nylon plastic cam.. and the PCB board had a RGB lights on it and the rest of the boosts don't. The early gold release had these 3 led lights my best guess was going to be different blinking lights as battery wore down. But they just made a simple blink. Also t45 question. The custom service does not understand what a QI pickup is nor a wireless charging receiver so I don't know what to call it but I grabbed a few from ct. One was a babyliss trimmer fx2 I got some gamma ones and an extra wireless aux charger plate. So basically it fell out and when I put it back in it worked. Then like a few days later it is just not taking a charge. The board is fine and also I'm sure you figured it out but you guys have a low pro wireless charger lol. Turn gamma ergo sideways. Boom. Low pro wireless charging. But the og style babyliss blue fx and other ones I have will only do a quick flash and not light up green indication of charging.

Idk the exact details but they’re probably similar. A boost+ wouldn’t need our upgrade. This one just had it because the original motor and battery had an issue.

Yeah if it’s flashing it’s almost dead. I’d definitely try to charge it back up before I threw in the motor and battery

Why do you choose the taper blade over the fade blade? I’m thinking of getting the taper blade for my clippers but I’ve never had a taper blade before, and I’m new to the barber game

Taper blade leaves a more smoother and buttery blend than the fade blade IMO

@@kidsuperdynamite If you want to do bald fades it’s always best to zero gap them, but taper blades are kinda limited, while they do leave a smoother blend I also noticed it’s harder to remove a trimmer line if your trimmer is zero gapped compared to using a fade blade where it removes the trimmer line easier than the taper blade, as long as your trimmers aren’t zero gapped to the max then you can remove the bald line with the taper blade with ease 👍

Fade blade isn’t very forgiving and a lot of the times will snag as well. Taper blade just a little easier going

Hey man, I had the same babyliss black and gold boost fx clipper, and you replaced the battery and motor. When I click the link to order, it says not compatible for boost fx and sadly out of stock. I'm having issues with my clipper boost fx. I just bought it last year, when I'm using it. It will stop, and the battery sounds low eventhou I charged it before using.

It says not compatible because the boost motor is already similar to our kit. It WILL fit but not as necessary. More meant to upgrade the regular fx
