Well, to be fair, PRL412 works only against Los Plagas, while rocket launcher decimates everything. Hell, in RE5, if I remember correctly, you need to kill the final boss with a freaking death laser from space. It takes 4 shots with it, while rocket launcher does the job with just one hit, lol.

Tyrants have a limit to how big they can get, and the tallest you’ll see one get is about 10-11 feet tall, not the thirty or so feet of the Gigante or Ogron.

Not to mention, Tyrants are generally sourced out to those who wish to have loyal bodyguards who follow orders without question, or used for cleanup duty to silence any potential witnesses such as in the Raccoon City Outbreak. Tyrants do indeed have a set size, as the largest they have ever gotten is around thirteen or so feet tall at most if we use the height of the Super Tyrants found in the CGI movie Resident Evil Damnation. The Ogron on the other hand is quite clearly meant to be an extensively mutated El Gigante, down to the Las Plagas parasites within its body being so large that they are bigger than it’s own damn spine in both length and width. The parasite even pops out of the back when the Ogron has taken enough damage! If you take a loot at a Super Tyrant, and then at an Ogron and El Gigante, you can clearly see what the Ogron is supposed to be.

@@garuelx8627 PRL is a light weapon, the "Las Plagas" parasite is vulnerable to light (that's why they die when they get out of the host head's if you throw a flash grenade) That's the entire reason the PRL 412 kills instantly, it shoots a ray of light that only damages the parasite and nothing else, that's why the merchant, Ashley and Luis don't die

From the thumbnail I has almost mistaken RE 4 and RE 2 remake for the same game... That goes to show how RE 4 doesn't need a remake yet they are just going to ruin it like they did by making A and B scenarios the same with RE 2 remake and by cutting out half of the plot and make nemesis a joke compared to the original with RE 3 remake. Iv only played 4 on ps2 5&6 on Xbox 360 but out of those the hand cannon on RE4 was a straight up pain to unlock having to get 5 stare rank with all character on all the maps was almost impossible to do with hunk all he had was the tmp and some grenades

Without question its the prl 412. No matter where an enemy is on screen theyre dead. Even with the rocket launcher if an enemy is out of the blast radius it will not be effected.

My opinion I thought the tommy gun in RE4 was the strongest. It sprays and has high damage. You don’t have to aim carefully when crowded with enemies.
