You can get a blue foundation mixer from L.A girl, it can turn any orange or yellow foundation into a neutral colour.

Beautiful look!! I’m glad you used the hourglass palette I’ve been curious about it. I’m 43 this month I find setting powders can make my under eye wrinkles more prominent Am I using the wrong powder ?? I use coverFX but only on my T-zone because I’m oily Should I be using two different powders One for my t-zone one for my under eye ? What would you recommend? TIA 😘

I would definitely try the Hourglass loose powder for under the eyes...it works so well on me and most of my clients. :)

Are there any foundation mixtures that don’t work that you’ve found? I’m trying to use up my Too Faced BTW foundation but it’s too heavy and dry - it’s odd because if I mix it with a moisturizer it literally separates on the back of my hand. They must have ingredients that repel each other. I’m so behind I haven’t tried the corrector or either concealer you’re using. I think the corrector does an amazing job on you - almost don’t need a concealer in my opinion, which is awesome. If you had to recommend one concealer that feels similar to your mixture, what would it be? Obviously if there was something EXACT you’d use it, so I’m just wanting “close”. In my recommended list on Sephora website a corrector from Kaja called “Cat Nap” came up - it’s liquid and only one color - I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts on it. Thanks!!

I have heard good things about the Kaja, but I haven't tried it personally before. May be worth checking out. Sometimes foundations don't mix well...if one if water based and one is silicon based for example they won't be the best at mixing. I haven't had an issue with many combos though. Another concealer I have been loving lately all on it's own is the Givenchy Everwear Concealer. I really disliked the matching foundation, but the concealer is great!

Mandy, I bought both these products as I love the look on you. You're right they are beautiful. However, I find my "topper" hourglass shadow disappears in a couple hours and doesn't stay in place. It travels a bit and gives me an overall slight shimmer. Do you have the same issues?

I'm a mature woman. While I was growing up when I was much younger I used to wear makeup in different ways as the way you do yours. I see a lot of the younger people's videos and they're just they're beautiful but a little too wild for me. I'm going to have to keep watching your video and learn your little tricks because I'm clueless. I go to put on my cosmetics and the eyeshadow I just look at myself when I said don't even bother don't even bother the couple times that I've tried to do it it didn't look right to me other people complimented me but to me it didn't look right and if I'm not happy that is a problem. So just want to tell you that I appreciate your video and if you can give me some links to other videos that you put together I will truly appreciate it.

Thank you! I have many tutorials you can find by browsing my channel. When I was first exploring makeup, I would play with full faces at night just before I knew I was going to wash my face. That way, if I didn't like it, I would be washing it off anyways, and if I did, I had a new fave look!

@@MandyDavisMUA ty so much... one of my main issues that's problematic is I had surgery on my eye and it's worse than a hooded lid I bought some of that double tape and this and that and I can't even seem to get that right it just seems like the older I get the more than eyelids drooping because I had the surgery it's to me it's just that much worse. So I have to enhanced what's positive on me and do the best I can and accept the things I cannot change cuz otherwise I'm going to drive myself insane

So lovely!! Do you always wipe off the lip gloss wand after applying gloss? I find my lighter/clear-ish glosses changing color because I always apply them over deeper lipstick shades.

Thanks Julie! Most of the time I don’t need to since I wear such nude lips. But if I do wear a darker or more vibrant color, I will just put the gloss on my hand and use my finger so the wand doesn’t get discolored.

Oh goodness, I have learned since being on KZbin that I will always insult someone somehow. I do apologize. I have been asked many many times to show how I use a glitter product or how I achieve that look for women over 20 who don’t want to look like they are using actual glitter. It’s the overarching question on here and from clients. It’s wasn’t meant to be insulting, so I am sorry you feel that way. I am obviously putting myself in that “age appropriate” group as well.
