It’s a lot of steps but we’re worth it. In this crazy world, we ladies (and men) need a time each day for a small amount of self indulgence. Skincare is a perfect way to “self indulge”. Love all of your choices, especially the Jordan Samuels and Truth Treatments! I think I want to try that Beautycounter acid.....the ingredients look fantastic. Great video....God Bless.

I found out that if you have had any form of skin cancer stem cell growth factors will encourage the return of cancer cells. I'm glad to see ColorScience has something with peptides but no growth factors.
@MandyDavisMUA5 жыл бұрын
I have heard that, and then I have heard that it is only the growth factors that aren't properly formulated outside of clinical studies. Who knows what to believe, but you are right...the peptide one is a great alternative!

Question I was thinking about buying the truth cleanser the peppermint one does it foam up? Also can you use it with the retinol gel 5%? I’ve never had luck with cleanser I can only use one cleanser it’s the Soap and Glory 3 in. I’ve tried tons of cleanser even the osmosis one and they all give me a rash or break me out. But since I’ve had such great luck with truth treatment I figured i might be okay. I’m allergic to a lot of stuff so anything with bark, nuts, mineral oil, sulfates, lactic acids, witch hazel, coconut oil.

Thanks for another great video! I'm new here, so I'm not sure if you're cruelty-free, vegan, etc., but you have got to try Estee Lauder's "Take it Away" Makeup Remover Lotion. I put two squirts on my fingers and then gently rub the eye by blinking up and down on my pointer finger, then I pat it with a wet cloth- and 100% of it comes off. I don't even remotely pull the lashes. I use that method on waterproof mascara and have it off one eye in less than 15 seconds. It doesn't burn. It's like this hidden gem nobody knows about. You get 5.7 ounces for $30.

I really love using the micheal.todd dermaplanning tool, the refill packages are cheaper than the dermaflash ones so that's why I decided to go with the Micheal todd one. I got mine from Macys for 65 $ it was on sale and I believe it might be on sale again. My father who is a dermatologist that just retired a couple of months ago (he also taught dermatology and created the dermatology program at UF) helped me find it and helped me decide which one to purchase. I have had really smooth skin since using it (I've been using it for a few months now) and has really helped keep my dry skin exfoliated and helps other skincare products to sink in better. It has different intensities for the vibrating feature and I started off using the most gentle setting and worked my way gradually. You might enjoy it too and I use it on dry skin after cleansing really well.

Great tip about the Jordan Samuel cleanser! I'll have to pull mine out and give it a try as a first cleanse. I couldn't stand the film it left on my skin. I replaced it with the Sanitas Milk & Honey cleanser, which I will now never be without!! Thank you for (ANOTHER!) great recommendation. I'll also have to try my little Flawless Face shaver with damp skin. I didn't think it worked very well, so I got the Dermaflash, which I really do like, but it's very exfoliating, so I try not to use it too often. It would be great to be able to use this one in between. It's definitely more gentle.

Which of these two TNS serums do you think is better or is there no difference, Skinmedica TNS essential serum or Skinmedica TNS recovery serum?
@sandra.mendes2795 жыл бұрын
I would love to know too
@MandyDavisMUA5 жыл бұрын
Hey girl...so the TNS Essential serum is the growth factor on one side and then a mixture of vitamin c and antioxidants on the other side. I used the recovery complex only because it is just the growth factor and I already used vitamin c and other antioxidants, so I didn't need to pay more and double up on them. So, if you already have some good serums that have the vitamin c and antioxidants, I would just do the recovery complex. If you don't, I would do the essential. I hope that helps!

Hello! Thank you very much for a great video. Given that you have so many facial oils, I'd like to ask, do you keep using them past their expiration date? If so, when do you decide to toss them? When you see the change in their working or their consistency? I'm asking because I can never finish my facial oils... They all expire before I'm even half done :D I continue using them though, and they seem to work just as well when expired. I'm not sure whether I should change my attitude about that or not. Thank you! :)
@MandyDavisMUA5 жыл бұрын
Hey there....I typically use them until they start smelling bad or when they hit 2 years. If they are completely natural with no preservatives, they may only last the one year. I play it by ear for sure, but rarely do I finish a complete one because I have so many.

I just love your vids, and esp. Skincare Routines!! And they are obs working very well 😘 You are so right; skin care doesn’t have to smell good, just work well. Fragrances are not good for no one’s skin. So many interesting products, and sorry; so many questions too ;) Why you use Bioderma just after your hydrating toner? You don’t use toner/serums on your neck/decollete at all? What results you have seen with Growth Factors or with Color Science Peptide Serum? And what retinol product(s) would you recommend for dry, sensitive skin? Would love to try esp. all Jordan Samuel Skin goodies 😍 Mist, Serum and Retinol Oil sound so good, as well as their ingredients 😘 (I so wish, they and Maelove would come here to Europe too!)
@MandyDavisMUA5 жыл бұрын
Don't apologize!! I only use the Bioderma on my neck...it's an actual makeup remover so it works better to get any foundation and powder that I have on my neck. I do pull down my serums onto my neck. Occasionally, if I have deluxe size samples of skincare, I will use those on my neck. It's mostly preventative for me with the Growth Factors/Peptide Serum. I do notice though when I am off of them for any length of time, I get more texture and my face is definitely less smooth. The smile lines and crows feet pop out more too. I would start out and see if you can use the roll on retinol spot treatment from Truth Treatments. Either that, or the 1% retinol gel. And then you can work up to the 5%. :)

I will be 35 in April and my skin looks dead, dull and my porse are becoming bigger again. What would you recommend for night time?
@MandyDavisMUA5 жыл бұрын
Hey Ashley...defiitely make sure to wash the face every night. The charcoal bar is fine for that, as long as you are doing it every night. And then I would suggest at the minimal a good toner, serum, eye cream and moisturizer. Have you ever tried an acid?
